It's almost Christmas!

It's the Saturday before Christmas and our house is still a BIG mess because Mom and Dad have been "remodeling" all summer and fall! I am very happy because my human brother is coming home on Monday for a visit, and because my big dog Nikki is still with us. Mom didn't think that Nikki would make it to Christmas, but she has surprised us. I am also very happy because our friend Lil' Muppet is recovering well from the surgery that relieved her pain; and our friend Jelly is finally starting to feel better after mouth surgery and then emergency surgery for an abscess in his mouth.

Yesterday we had another huge snowstorm. That made almost 37" for us this season, and more coming tonight. Does anyone want some snow?

Tonight we are praying for all of our friends who are sick and those who have crossed the Bridge this year. Most recently we have lost Squirt, Marley, and Sir Sonny Bono. We send their families our most heartfelt sympathy and pray that they find comfort in knowing that their babies are safe and well and in the arms of the Angels across the Bridge.

As you can see, I don't write in my diary very often, but tonight I felt the urge to add this note. I am so grateful for all I have--a home, loving parents and siblings, and the best friends a kitty could want. I want to wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY, PROSPEROUS, AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR.
