Arrival Story:
Dad found Socks hiding under the truck at work during a snowstorm. Our other cat hated Socks and quit eating so we tried to find Socks a new home. Adopted Socks out on the condition that if it didn't work out, Socks would be returned to us. At 10:30 at night, the doorbell rang, a car sped away, and there was Socks sitting next to a bag of cat food. Apparently he didn't like apartment life. Placed another ad in the newspaper, Socks took off for 19 days. When he returned, we kept him.

Bio:
Originally named "Socrates" by the people who adopted him. Changed to Socks when we decided to keep him.
