Living with Laurie

My brother, Skelty, has been bugging me to write a diary about living with Laurie, so I thought I had better do that....

As he said, on September 1, we moved in with Laurie. I wasn't sure about this place. I don't like new people, new places, new things....they just make me nervous.

What I din't like about her place is all the open space, but I also like it. She has a BIG back yard that is edged with woods, and I really liked playing in the woods, but getting there is kinda scary since it is so open. When I first moved in I would go out the back door, sprint down the steps and across the yard into the edge of the woods. Now, I love the back yard - it has lots of places for me to jump on and off of, places to hide and places to stretch out in the sun. She even has a fountain in the back yard that I use for drinking from. You know how us kitties like running water.

I still have issues with her and my slave not being around to let me back in the house when I want to be. I liked Jean's place better - it has a kitty door so I can go in and out as I please. So - if I wanna get into the house, and they aren't around, I just wander over to Jean's place. The problem is, if I don't come back home when they think I should, they come pick me up in the CAR. YUCK! I HATE riding in the car, and I let them know about it too.

Well, it is time for me to nap as my slave & Laurie will be home soon and I really need to be sleeping so they have to make the effort to wake me up to snorgle with them.
