Arrival Story:
Bubba was a stray baby kitten roaming the streets in my Mom's townhouse community. On a cool Fall evening in 1997, Bubba followed my Mom home while she was taking a walk. Not being much of a cat person, Mom decided to turn a corner, and "whew", she lost him. But then she turned the next corner down the road and there he was again. He followed her home. Mom called me at my apartment and asked me what to do with this cat... I told her I'd be right over! My sister came over too. His fur was covered in poo and he was dirty, so we washed him up in the utility sink and blew him dry. We had no idea he was a Persian cat at that point.. After I nursed him back to health (fed him loads of vitamins through a syringe), he started gaining weight. He turned into a big fat bundle of LOVE, the PUREST form of JOY.

Bio:
On 2/17/04, I came home from work and found Bubba dead in his sleeping box. I was completely shocked and devestated. My world was shatterred. My vet performed an ecopsy which showed he had a massive heart attack from a congenital heart conditon. I have never been the same since I lost Bubba. He was the light of my life. Bubba was a very special soul... I still miss him, each and every day. He had a "certain something" about him...it's difficult to put into words, but those who knew him know what I'm talking about. No pet will ever affect me the way he did. He g ave me 7 of the happiest, most fun-filled years of my life.
