Arrival Story:
I wanted a cat so badly for all of 2005, but i was running in my first election. I knew I wouldn't have time to spend with a new kitty. The day after the election (i won), i went to the Animal Resource Center, and Albus snuggled up on my lap. He hopped up all by himself. Later that day, my dh went to the same ARC, and Albus hopped up on his lap too. We took him home, and found out he was sick! The cuddling was probably faked to get to go to a good vet. 5 visits and many pills down the throat later, Albus was home and healthy. According to the ARC, Albus was a stray picked up from the street in a neighboring city. In the 2.5 years he has lived with me, he has been pampered, pampered, pampered. Our family also includes a 125 pound golden lab, who is a bit scared of Albus
