MCKENNA'S MEWINGS.....

TODAY WAS THE DAY....OUR SWEET BABY GIRL...

Hello My Furfriends,
All I can say is LA TEE DA....LA TEE DA!!! Today was the
day I could not stand to be away from my Angel Brother
Buddie and I followed him up to Kitty Heaven here two years ago!! Mommie and Daddy had no idea I was planning this because I was doing so well!! But, well, I had other ideas!! And I went quite fast too...I closed my little eyes in Daddy's arms and when I opened them, my Angel Buddie (minus his
Wings) was there along with Angels Ricki, Angel and Mookie!!!
Boy, was I ever happy!!!
Now, I have to tell you...getting those Angel Wings for
Brother Buddie was a TASK AND HALF..the furboy did NOT
want to study!! All he wanted to do was run and play!!! I realized within the first day how important it was to learn all I could about Kitty Angel life and I earned my wings in record time!!! It was a snap!! heheh Anyway, I held Angel Brother Buddie's nose to the grindstone and MADE him study like he has never studied in his whole life!! Was he ever mad at me too!! heehheh Anyhow, now that it is over and he has his Angel Wings, I think he understands what I was trying to do for him.
Sometimes I can hear Mommie and Daddy talking about me..how soft my fur was and how I stayed a 'kitten' all my life and that I never lost my innocent kitten face....how I
was devoted to Angel Mookie and followed her around all the time....how Angel Brother Buddie and I would only sit together on the deck in the same chair once and a while...looking back on that, after seeing how happy it made
Mommie and Daddy, I would of done that more for them!!
I hear them talking about how sweet I was...and what a good little girl I was....Mommie keeps saying she can still feel my
oh so soft fur her in her fingertips and on her face when she would snuggle me.....she said she misses my purr so much!!!
She said she is thankful that she has some of my fur left....
Well, you know I am still a Shopping Diva up here in Kitty
Heaven.....the stores up here, my Furfriends, the stores.....
oh my...well, Girlfurfriends, just wait!! I will show
you EVERYTHING when you get up here!!!! New York, Paris or LA has NOTHING on our Heavenly Mall up here!! Wait...just wait!!
Well, I hear the Sales calling my name.....I mean REALLY
calling my name....I would explain that BUT you will just have to wait till YOU arrive up here in Kitty Heaven...you are going to be soooooooooo amazed!! I can't wait to see your face!!

WEDDINGS, SHOPPING AND SHARING THOUGHTS.....

Hello Furfriends,
Oh, what a wedding Margo RKN and Mikey
had!!! She was the most beautiful bride
ever and Mikey was beaming!!! Everything
went off without a hitch!!!
Now, after the wedding and reception, I
had the best time ever....I got to take my
tiny little namesake, ELISE
, out for her first
grown up shopping trip!! What fun we had!!
Her eyes got big as saucers and her little
whiskers were actually trembling when we landed
at the giant "Heavenly Cloud Nine Mall"!! I don't
think she has ever seen one as big as this one!!!
First off, we stopped at the local coffee and
snack shop and got a treat....well, I let her have
a treat...I wanted her to try her first grown up
chocolate coffee spritzer.....yes, she loved it!!
She got chocolate sprinkles all over her tiny mouth!!
hehhehehe
Then we headed toward the shops after we stopped
by the litter box......our first stop was "Macy-Moo's"..
they have the best in soft furry sweaters!! She found
a lovely one in PINK..just her color..and it had a big
"E" on it too! heheheh
We had to get her matching slacks and a skirt...
not to mention tiny slippers for her paws! All in
various shades of PINK!!!
Next, I made an appointment to get our nails done..she had
never done this before and she giggled all through it...hehehe
Now her nails are a soft pink shade with one tiny little "E" on
her first nail....she is so 'in' style!!!!!
We laughed and shopped and talked and shared all kinds
of thoughts and secrets all night long..I finally noticed the time and was shocked....we had been gone most of the night!!
I knew her mommie would be mad....BUT, NOPE! Her mommie was fast asleep on the couch with a book across her lap and
her reading glasses slipping down her nose with a glass of
warm milk beside her..I guess she was waiting up for us and didn't make it!! hehe
I tucked Little Elise in her warm clean bed, gave her a kiss
nitey-nite, kissed her mommie, put up our packages and flew off.....with promises for MORE exciting trip to come....

force up here in Kitty Heaven....I am going
to shop till I drop!! Everywhere I go, I get
light headed because the tickets have been
slashed to NOTHING prices!!!! My head is
swimming!!!!
Furgirls, when you come to live in Kitty Heaven,
do not fret or worry....you will soon forget about
every store on Earth that was your favorite...you won't
even remember their names..it will be erased from your
memory!!! ZAP!! The stores here are beyond words!!

ANGEL MCKENNA'S FIRST YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

Hello Furfriends,
It's me...Little Angel McKenna..it has been
a full year since I decided I could not live
without my brother Buddie and I had to follow
him to Kitty Heaven just two days after he left
me!!!
It was a shock to Mommie and Daddy because
I was feeling better and there were no thoughts
of my leaving to join Angel Buddie that day.
They rushed me to my vets and I was all wrapped
up cozy and warm....I was purring and so sweet
looking....mommie brushed my thick tortie colored
hair and it felt so soft and warm....my eyes were
bright and my ears perky.....there was no thought
of what would follow that horrible day.
My vet came in and said I would not last long....I closed
my eyes and purred and in my purr I was telling mommie
and daddy how much I loved them and would miss them
BUT that I HAD to be with Angel Brother Buddie...he needed
me more than they did!!!
He was there to meet me with open paws.....along with
my Angel siblings Mookie, Angel and Ricki.....oh, what a reunion
we had....we all looked back at the vets office
for a moment and
saw mommie and daddy hugging and crying so hard....but,
we knew it would only be for a moment in time that we would be parted and once again we will be one happy family soon!!!
Until then, I am their Little Angel McKenna....
always loved and never forgotten!!!

When I woke up this morning I found out my Angel Sister
Mookie was one of the Diary Picks!! WOW WEE!
Now, you know what that means?? I better get shopping!!
Heavy duty shopping!!!! I want to get Angel Sister Mookie
something very nice for this honor Catster gave her....she
is a very quiet little girl who never causes any problems and never ask for anything....so, I am going to buy her a very
feminine Bonnet and a scarf that matches....maybe some
booties and maybe a purse that matches it all?? Am I going overboard?? Well, when I was on Earth, I was part of
"The SisterHood of the Traveling FurPants" (Ele and Spark
were the other two) and we traveled all over the Earth
(thanks to Angel Buddie's jet and Black American Express Card..heehe) and we shopped till we dropped!!! Here in
Kitty Heaven, the Shopping is way beyond your wildest dreams!! So, what I am buying for Angel Sister Mookie
will be easy....oh, my Female Catster Friends, when you come
up to Kitty Heaven, guess who will take you to ALL the shops and outfit you from whisker to paw?? ME!! Your Shopping Queen!! hehehhehe

TAKING MY SISTERS FOR A DAY OF BEAUTY!

Hello All my Furfriends,
Thank you so much for thinking about me with
such lovely Rosettes, Special Rosette and STARS!
You don't know how much I appreciate them not
to mention my Daddy and Mommie....I see them at
the computer reading each and everyone sent to
me and talking about the furface who sent it too.
They said it means the world to them!!
Today is my daddy's Birthday....I will fly in tonight,
with all my FurSiblings, to see daddy and to give him
such a BIG hug and many many kisses. I know he misses
me so much because he talks to me!! And he always
tells me that he loves me and what a good little girl
I am....he is a good daddy!!
We have been very busy in Kitty Heaven lately.
A lot of my Catster friends are up here now running, jumping and playing while they are waiting for their families to join them! It is like there is a "Kitty Heaven Catster Chapter" here, my friends!! It is great!!! Listen, don't worry or fret

NEW WINGS AND LA TEE DA"S......

Hello Furfriends,
La Tee Da....La Tee Da....Mother's Day is coming up even here in Kitty Heaven...the kitties that are mommie's in Kitty Heaven are planning such fun festivities...and the ones that are not mommie's (like me) will fly down to visit their Human Earth Mommie's....I can't wait to see her expression when I fly in..it will be such a surprise!
I am going shopping today and tomorrow for the PURR-FECT frock to wear for my
trip down to our house on Earth..in fact, Brother Ricki is flying me down..he wants to see Mommie
too...along with Mookie, Angel and Buddie....we want to see what has changed in our house and talk to our new brothers, Gibbs and Cash.
I am going to bring Mommie some of my old Angel Wings..you know, each time we pass a test we get new wings..I have a whole closet full since I always do so well on test...with Buddie?? Well, let's just say he can count his Angel Wing collection on one paw....hhehhehehehe
Anyway, we will be flying down to see her and she will be SO surprised and happy! I can't wait!!

OUR PAWS ARE WORKING OVERTIME.....

Hello To All My Earthbound Friends,
Up here in Kitty Heaven, there are
many things to do everyday...BUT, the
biggest thing we did was spread more
happiness on top of our humans even
tho they didn't want it....the 'happiness'
came in the form of a little mango
color tidbit found at a pet store by
way of a rescue place....they really really
did not want this tiny piece of fluff in
their lives! But, they didn't want him to end up in
a 'terrible' place either...so their hearts over
ruled their minds and they walked out of our
local pet store with a nifty black velvet carrier
and a tiny mango colored mewing four pound
kitty in it!!
I had a hand in the black velvet carrier..it
has leopard spots on the inside...hehehe
I guess my shopping expertise has come in
handy, huh, my friends??
Well, I will write later..the school bell is
ringing and if I don't MAKE Buddie show up
he will cut class and be out in the butterfly fields playing
with all his Catster friends!

LA TEE DA AND LITTLE SMILES.....

Hello Everyfurone,
La Tee Da....La Tee Da....Life is nice up
here in Kitty Heaven!! Shopping is just
too wonderful to put into words....what
a kitty wardrobe I have now....La Tee
Da La Tee Da.
Oh, I must report something I helped
Buddie with.....then back to shopping.
We looked down on mommie and daddy this
weekend and saw how sad they were....crying
is not good for them.
So, we decided to take matters into our
own little paws and, with the help of Wise Older
Kitty (say, he is something else), and a little
luck, we found a solution to their broken
hearts. They are not ready for this 'solution',
I can tell, but in time, they will see it is best.
We directed mommie and daddy to a new little
white furface that would of died if they had
not opened their hearts to the possibilities
of furlove once more.
We could hear them saying they were not ready
and could not think of bringing another furface
into OUR house.....then, realizing it would mean
another furface coming to live in Kitty Heaven,
they said "yes" and the house now has paws running
all around once again.
Furfriends, we saw them smile
this morning....it was
a little smile, but it was a smile...something
they have not done since before Thanksgiving
when Buddie left them and then I left right
after.....maybe 2008 will be a good year for
my mommie and my daddy after all.
Well, I NEED to go shopping again, my friends....
that must be my mission up here in Kitty Heaven...maybe
teaching other Angel Newbies how to shop
properly???? heheheheh

CHEATING IN HEAVEN...OH NO!!!!

Hello My Furfriends,
I have been working so hard since I made
up my mind to follow my Brother Buddie to
Kitty Heaven. I just KNEW he would need
me and, boy, was I right! He has made me
take notes for him in class at Kitty Heaven
High while he skipped class....somehow I
felt this was cheating!!! So, today, I put my
tiny little paw down and told him "No More"..
he would have to attend class in person
and take his own notes!! So, that is exactly
what he is doing....and, to my surprise, he
is becoming a pretty good student!
He told me that he has been named "Cat
of the Week" and that he thought he'd
better 'clean up his act' a little....he mumbled
something about 'time to grow up'....after all,
he IS married to the Beautiful Miss Hazel
Lucy of Catster Fame and Cat of the Week...
so he'd better
act like the mature Kitty Angel we THINK
he is...hehehhe
On a lighter side, the shopping up here is
out of this world....they give us unlimited
charge cards and our own transportation
to any store in Heaven we want to go to!!
(Sort of like Brother Buddie did for my
SisterHood of the Traveling Furpants
girlfurfriends, Ele
and Spark but MUCH better!)
I guess I'd better get out the door now...
they are calling us for dinner and Buddie
just
told me there are several Catster friends
up here I have not greeted as of yet....I will
try to make them feel 'at home' and show them
the ropes. Don't worry about any of
your furfriends up
here....Buddie and I will make everyone
feel safe and secure...I promise!!!

IT'S MOMMIE SHERRY FOR McKENNA..

Hello Everyone......
I want to thank you for everything you have done to show your love
for our little girl, McKenna.....Daddy(kisskiss) Bill and I have read
each and every Rosette, Star and Gift Rosette that has shown up on
her page....we read and cry at each one but we also APPRECIATE the
kind words
of love you express in them....I have not been able to respond to
them personally because I am just so saddened at the unexpected
loss of McKenna so soon after the loss of her Brother Buddie....we
were not expecting it and it is still so hard to believe. I can read
and cry over them and feel the love you are sending us....but don't feel
YOU are making me sad...I am only sad knowing she is gone but also
feel so blessed that you feel such love for her that you are sending
such powerful thoughts and prayers her way....I KNOW she feels them
too.
Hopefully, she will help Brother Buddie with mastering his studies
at Kitty Heaven High so they BOTH can resume their diaries once
again....McKenna is a very smart girl but her Brother Buddie is
a different story......ah, yes....he is.....

It is Sherry..the clueless mommie again...
I just wanted all of you to know that every single
Rosette, Star, and Special Rosette Gift has been read
by Bill (daddykisskiss) and me. Your name and kitty
family page were opened each time we read a new rosette/star/special rosette
gift...we appreciate each and every one and we appreciate
the heartfelt notes you sent with them..I know they were
from YOUR hearts as well as Buddie and McKenna's furfriends.
This is a THANK YOU to every
sweet, kind, thoughtful and loving friend who took your
time and your Zealies to send to us....each of you
has a special place in our hearts...the gifts have helped us remember
that our two special furbabies were loved and are missed
by their friends....as well as us.
Each one of you, with your words and expressions of
emotion, has helped us
during this very very difficult time in our lives....words
can not express the depth of our grief but, if you have
lost a furlove, then you know what we are feeling with both of them leaving us so close together.
We have also received many pictures of Buddie and McKenna, either separately or together, that I will post

Heaven is full of awesome places to shop and to eat..and you know
how much McKenna loves to shop....but, I think, she enjoys eating

In KittyHeaven she can do many things at once....not like it was
on Earth!!!

FROM MOMMIE SHERRY AND DADDY(KISSKISS) BILL

Hello Everyone on Catster...it is Sherry...mom to
Buddie and McKenna...
First I want to tell you how much each and every
Rosette, Star, Gift Rosette and Pmail has meant
to both Bill and me....you can NOT imagine how
each one has warmed our hearts....we are looking
at them as they pour in.....and we cry as we
read each one.
They represent a furfriend of either Buddie
or McKenna's and they also represent a human behind
it....that has not been lost on either one of us.
As you can imagine, we are both completely devastated
over the loss, first of our baby boy, Buddie, and now
over the loss of our little girl, McKenna.
We do not have human children which made them our
furchildren so it is like the loss of two of our children.
When Buddie passed just a few days ago, I felt I could
keep up with, at least, the Pmails and I had done pretty
good with that....but when McKenna left us, the pain
was too much and I could not read the Pmails at that
point...so I am very behind in them...please excuse that.
I just wanted each and everyone of you to know, that
WILL get to the Pmails and I WILL start thanking
you for your heartfelt Rosettes, Stars and Gift Rosettes.
I know you say that is not necessary but you took the time to send them with such wonderfully kind messages that I want you to know how much each and every one has meant to
us....so I hope to thank each and everyone of you
personally....it may
take a very long time because each one brings a fresh
bucket of tears and you know a body only has a certain
amount of them stored up.....and my new stock has not
come in yet.
With that said, I want you to know that the members
of Catster (and some Dogsters too...ha!) are the reason
Bill and I can carry on as we are....each one of you have
contributed to our being able to open our eyes each morning and thanking God for 'friends' like you...we have never
met face to face, but I just want you to know that you
have helped two very sad and devastated furparents through this unimaginable time of grief.....thank you for that and
thank you for caring!
I will keep up with their diaries from KittyHeaven as
time gives us a little peace in our hearts......

Hello Furfriends,
It is me...Little McKenna...Guess what?
Brother Buddie came and got me today.
He told me he could not stand Kitty
Heaven without me by his side so he
asked for help in flying down and taking
me away....so many of our Catster
KittyAngel Friends said they would assist
him so a whole group of familiar furfaces
came flying down in a BIG group and
before I knew it I was flying back with
them.
I could see mommie and daddy(kisskiss)
standing over my tiny body and crying
and talking about me and Brother Buddie.
They said they can't believe how quickly
I joined Buddie....they said they can't
believe how much they hurt..they said
their hearts are now more broken in two
and never will be complete again.
I wanted to put my little paws around
them and tell them not to worry...to
LOOK at me now and see I am in the safe
arms of Brothers Buddie, Ricki and also
getting kisses from Sisters Mookie
and Angel....AND that I feel like a kitten
again..Brother Buddie was so right...we
are healthy and happy and feeling
SOOOO good again...oh my!!
Well, I must try to get situated in my
new KittyHeaven Home now...it feels SO
good to be with my whole fur family
once again..now we will just wait for
our sweet Mommie and Loving Daddy(kisskiss)
to join us too...

MCKENNA CRIES FOR BUDDIE....

Hello Furfriends,
I don't know what is going on..my Brother Buddie
is not here to make my life miserable...his favorite
Sunday morning game, when mommie and daddy would
leave to go to Church, was the "CHASE GAME"....he
would chase and chase me around and around the
house...of course, he would be meowing that funny
little laugh of his and I would always let him catch
me...he never knew that...hehe
Anyhow, I heard mommie and daddy say that Buddie
has gone to Kitty Heaven..boy, that must be a GREAT
place if they wanted him....he will really be a bright
spot up there because he sure was down here with
us.
I will miss my beloved Brother Buddie so very very
much...I know he will always look out for me and protect
me, tho...that was his job on Earth because I am so
tiny and innocent.

BROTHER BUDDIE's PURR DAY HAS DRAWN TO A CLOSE......

Hello Everyfurone!!
Oh, "Purring for Buddie Day" has drawn to a close....what a touching day this has been for my family.....every where we looked, there was Brother Buddie's picture....on so many pages....Furfriends, you don't know what this has meant
to our family...mommie has stayed in tears most of the day....The humans
carried Buddie upstairs to the computer room tonight and showed him what everyfurone did for him today....boy, was he excited!! He purred and looked at all the Rosettes, Stars and Rosette Gifts and then he looked at all the pictures of HIMSELF (his favorite thing to do..hehehhe) on everyone's page and then he looked at all his pmails (that clueless mommie has not gotten to)....boy, "Purring
for Buddie's Day" really made Brother Buddie speechless, my friends! And that is hard to do!!!
I just had to tell you how much this day has helped my family....we took strength from all the love sent our way....Brother Buddie felt the purrs, prayers and good thoughts and I think his whiskers perked up some too.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!!!!!!! That does not seem like enough to say but I
don't think there are words TO say how we feel...JUST THANK YOU!!!

MILO AND THE CHASE GAME.....

Hello My Furfriends!
Oh, life is so beautiful....I think I saw MILO last night..I think he flew down
with Brother Ricki to pay me a visit.....he looked so healthy and fluffy
and HAPPY!! He said he has seen SO many furfriends from Catster in
Kitty Heaven and he is playing with ALL of them...he said Kitty Heaven
is so much fun and nothing to fear...he and BrotherRicki told me they fly all
over the place checking on one kitty after another here on Earth to
make sure they are ok....or if they are getting ready to come to Kitty
Heaven, they tell them how great it will be once they arrive! Oh, this
makes me feel so good about everything awaiting all of us!
MILO is doing wonderfully, my friends..I expect each one of you will
see him at one point or another while you are still on Earth..he said he
would try to make it to see ALL his many many friends.
Well, I think I hear that other Brother of mine, the Orange Problem
Child otherwise known as "BUDDIE" , gearing up for his favorite
game.."The Chase Game"....it is not MY favorite game, tho...guess who
the title refers to?? ME!!!! I am the one being CHASED all the time..it is
good I am tiny and fast...

When Buddie told me that Milo had gone to Kitty Heaven I was so shocked that

missed so much...Milo is now looking down on all his friends and waiting till we

by the way.

MY SWEET MEL....

My furfriends, it is with a heavy heart that I must tell you of the passing
of my sweet furhusband, Mel
Mel was a true furgentleman and had such wisdom and kindness.
Mel taught me so much about life and how to live it and how to enjoy
it.
Mel and his family suffered through the Katrina disaster and then resettled
into a 'normal' life once again.
Mel had been sick for a little while but always seemed to get better when
least expected to.
Mel had wonderful human parents, Carolyn and Jonathan, who care for
him as the special furperson he was.
Mel had a best doggy friend, Earle, who loved him as a brother and they
shared their home with true harmony.
Mel always knew what to say to me when I needed to be told to "fight for
life, McKenna" and always wanted me to be healthy.
Mel sent me, with love, a handmade Engagement necklace that I will ALWAYS
treasure for the rest of my life.
Mel was a one in a million furgentleman and he was mine for a short time in our nine
lives on Earth....I hope he will watch over me and be there when it is my time to join him in Kitty Heaven....

I SPY A HORSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Furfriends,
Oh, I am SO excited.....yesterday mommie, daddy(kisskiss),
brother Buddie and I went to something called a Pet
Blessing....it was full of running jumping barking doggies of all
sizes and shapes and one really BIG funny looking thing called
a HORSE...I really liked the horse...in fact, I could not take my
eyes off of the horse...I even like saying the word "horse"..ehhehe
Anyhow, I was taken out of my carrier to be blessed....not like brother
Buddie who was left in his...mommie said we couldn't trust him...hehe...
anyway, I kept looking at the horse and, furfriends, I think the horse
WINKED at me....I was so happy!! I wanted to take Horse home
and tried to let mommie know by batting my eyes at the horse and then
at mommie....I don't thnk she caught on, tho....she let the horse go
back into it's large carrier that was attached to a big truck....and it drove
off...it took a piece of my heart with it, my furfriends....and left some of it's
heart with me.... at least I made a new friend and got to see how doggies
play in a big field...they sure know to how have fun!!!
Well, that was my exciting time yesterday, my friends..I just wanted to share it with you!!!!!

like he owns it! All in this one week he was picked as "Calvin's Pal of the Week" PLUS he had his

Well, I am just kidding....I guess he deserves to have some good luck...after all,

THE CHASE GAME AND FEELING GOOD AGAIN......

Hello My FurFriends,
The sun is shining brightly on me and Brother Buddie...we are both better!
I can't believe he can breathe and I can too.....it was a long road to recovery
(especially for him since he was much sicker than I was) but things are looking up for both of us. Thank you so very much for all the good thoughts, prayers and Rosettes and Stars, my furfriends!
The vet checked me out today and even my limp is much better so I won't have to take the extra medicine either...one less to open my little mouth for. hehehhe
Brother Buddie must think I am getting better because he has decided it is time to play his most favorite game...."The Chase Game".....of course, I am the one being chased...it is not much fun for me but it means he thinks I am better too...hehehe
Well, I hear him eating and usually after that, he is ready for "play"....that means that "Chase" game...that means I must go hide so he can't find me.....brothers!
I can't live with him and sure would never want to try to live without him!! (But don't tell him I said that, my friends...hehe)

It is ME...Little McKenna....I asked mommie to write a diary for me too since she just wrote one for brother Buddie......I am better too, my furfriends..I am still sneezing BUT they say they think I am on the upswing and not getting worse!!!
My URI seems to be slowly leaving my little body so that makes my whiskers
twitch in happiness! hehe
I am having a problem with my hips now..for some reason I am limping on both back legs....mommie had xrays made this past week and my new vet gave her some good news...no masses or 'bad things' are showing up on the xrays...my new vet said it is probably just from getting older...who me???? No way!!! heheheheh
They are going to start me on something new for the limp this week so we hope this will work! I will let you know..I am NOT in pain and still will jump on my favorite couch to sit in the sun and sleep!
So, all in all, things are looking up for both Brother Buddie and me!

COULD BUDDIE GO TO ENGLAND TOO?? ANY TAKERS??

Hi to all my Furfriends,
Guess what? Daddy (kisskiss) has gone to a far off land called "England"....
He will be gone for a whole week so that means I have mommie to myself the
whole time! I think this might be a PINK WEEK....girly stuff happening everyday!
Buddie is sulking around the house and mewing sadly....he misses daddy (kisskiss) and is blaming mommie...I know it has something to do with that thing called
'work' but Buddie (being a boy) does not understand the word 'work'....hehe He
thinks it is mommie's fault...friends, he even wants me to boycott FOOD for the week since daddy's (kisskiss) hands won't be serving it!! Can you imagine??
I guess that I will enjoy being the "Queen of the House" this week! After daddy
(kisskiss) gets back, things return to normal with Buddie strutting around like he owns the place!
Brothers...can't live with them and can't live without them...but I might like to try!

LA TEE DA....MY FIRST STROLLER RIDE....LA TEE DA

Hello FurFriends!!!
TODAY I TOOK MY FIRST STROLLER RIDE!! Ahhh...I remember Brother
Buddie's first ride not long ago....he cried like a little baby the whole way...heheheh Guess what, furfriends?? Not a whimper out of me...not a
sound...I was looking all around at the BIG BEAUTIFUL world out there!
Me!! Little McKenna who is scared of everybody and everything!! I was
strolling like a pro!! I was in my glory!!
Maybe a little of the happiness I was feeling was, since Brother Buddie
just finished with his stroll and wanted more, I was placed in HIS stroller!!
hehhehe It had HIS smell in it! It had HIS yellow hairs in it....guess what,
furfriends?? Now it has some of MY smell and I made sure some of my long
slinky tortie fur was left behind when I was lifted out!!!! hehehehehh
Yes, friends....today was a La Tee Da day for sure!!!

SAND FUR AND BROTHER....

Hello Furfriends,
Sarah Lee and I are back from the beach!! All tanned and rested...Mommie
used the "Furminator" on me to get the sand out of my fur! hehe
This was Sarah Lee's first trip to the beach..she was so surprised to see how
BIG it is....and how wet! hehe She learned how to swim from a very tall and
lean lifeguard...he must of liked her teeny tiny pink bikini!! By the days end,
she was swimming like a fish...which reminds me...the food was out of this
world.....and the drinks were delicious tasting....we had a blast.
Now I am home....with Brother Buddie....who is bugging me....oh my...I need
another trip!! hehe

LA TEE DA...LA TEE DA....FLYING HOME TODAY...LA TEE DA...

Hello my furfriends,
Well, the digs are over with and the rock climbing and diving off
the cliffs are in the past....I made it home in ONE piece....Yipee!!
No cuts, hurts or broken bones....in fact, we had time to shop,
eat in some fine places and get LOTS of spa treatments! They
were the best!! I feel relaxed and ready for my next adventure...
which by the way will be with a new little friend I have...she has
never been to the beach...so Brother Buddie will clean the jet
tonight, fuel it and Sarah Lee and I will be winging our way for a relaxing time at the beach
tonight after the fireworks!
She needs to dig her paws into the warm white sand and feel how good
it feels on her pads...and she needs to dive into the warm surf and feel how good
the salt water feels on her fur...and she needs to gather sea shells by the sea
shore and see how beautiful they really are!! Oh, there are so many things
she needs to see that I will show her!! We will have such fun and eat like
Queens...I will take her to the Spa too...she might need a manicure after
the sand digging..hehehehheh
Well, off to unpack and then pack again!!

FRIZZ....FUR....DIRTY NAILS.....UCK!!!

Hello Friends,
Spark and Ele took me on my very FIRST Archeological DIG!!!!! WOW!!
Spark dug up some lovely gold earrings...oh they are beautiful with all
the detail work put in them.....Ele dug up an awesome ring that
had precious jewels embedded in it!! ME?? I ended up digging up OLD
TOOLS!! Can you imagine??...I can hardly spell the word "TOOLS" and that is what
I spent my time digging THAT UP!!! I kept
thinking "This has got to be a joke"..hehhehe
The air at the Dig caused Ele's fur to get "Climate Frizz", as she called
it, so she spent a long time getting fluffed afterwards at the Spa! ha!!
The Dig also played havoc on our nails, my friends....dirty and broken....that means artificial nails applied at the Nail Salon before our night out...hehheheh
Brother Buddie will be happy to know his
Black American Express card didn't get a work out while we were on the Dig....no stores in sight for miles and miles..hehehhe
BUT, we will make up for that over sight
in the next few days, for sure....hehe Thanks, Brother Buddie....you really can be
a good guy sometimes!!!
Well, off to get a snack before a hard afternoon of diving lessons to prepare for
the Cliff Climb....uh oh...does that mean what

LaTeeDa...LaTeeDa....TRIP TOMORROW!! LaTeeDa.....

Hello My Furfriends,
Tomorrow morning at seven AM, bright and early, Brother Buddie's jet will wing it way to Sparks home and Ele's home to pick them up....we will sleep
on the jet and feel refreshed when we land in Belize!!!!! Oh, I am so excited!!!
Brother Buddie has also lent us Chef Mow-Wee to cook for us on the plane and on days we don't want to eat out...ha! Imagine that..not eating
out in Belize?? Crazy, huh? I think he just wanted Chef Mow-Wee to be able
to frolic in the sunshine of Belize too!!! Anyhow, Spark and Ele have so
many things planned for us to do while we are there!! I am glad I am only
in charge of getting us there and back..hehehehehe I have the easy part....I will write just as soon as I have something to report...oh friends, I won't be able to sleep a wink tonight!!! Oh my!!! LaTeeDa...LaTeeDa.....fun awaits!!

DROOPY FLUIDS PINK BUDDIES..........

Hello Furfriends,
Rats and mousies......daddy (kisskiss) talked to the Special vets and also
to our Regular vets yesterday and everyone has decided I need to start going
EVERY DAY for fluids starting Monday.....I am NOT happy!!! My fur is droopy...
my whiskers are droopy...my tail is droopy...BUT, Brother Buddie was actually
helpful to me...YES! THAT Brother Buddie..the one who is the thorn in my side!
He reminded me that he, at one point last summer, had to go everyday for fluids too..and that it was not that bad...of course, this is ME he is talking about...NOT HIM!!! Well, I thanked him for his pep talk and sulked off to meditate under the chair....I know it is for my own good...and I WILL try to be a brave little girl
about it...I was good when they increased my blood pressure meds to almost
double!!! I didn't protest!! But now, I think they are asking way too much of
me...everyday?? EVERYDAY?? Oh my....I think I deserve a nice NEW carrier
for this!! Maybe PINK?? And mommie could put some flowers on it?? Hey, I know what is better...to have a very girly girl PINK carrier with flowers on it and maybe even a bow on top and then have her put BUDDIE in it and let him
ride to the vets in it for Jonanthon and all the humans at the vets to see!! Boy, that would make this EVERYDAY thing a snap!! I would be laughing so hard......

LA DEE DA....LA DEE DA...I WENT TO THE SPECIAL VETS- YESTERDAY.....

Hello Furfriends,
Yesterday mommie and daddy (kisskiss), who took the day off just for ME,
took ME to the special vet on the other side of Nashville....we had a very
uneventful trip (the best kind) and arrived right on time!!
I was a brave little girl and put my best multicolored face forward..I was
touched, mashed, stuck and they took pictures of my insides!!!! My oh my!!
The only thing they could tell mommie and daddy (kisskiss) yesterday that my blood pressure was too high so mommie took me today (near our town) for another blood pressure check..it was still too high....200.
Today the special vet called and said they want to increase my blood pressure meds (it does not taste all that bad...I hate to admit...heehee) and my 'tumors' have NOT grown or changed in any way so that is WONDERFUL news!! My special vet is NOT worried about them at all! YIPEE!!! GOOD NEWS!! (they are not cancer but still called tumors for some strange reason)
There is a chance that I will only have to get fluids two times a week instead
of three for a little while...they want to see if my creatin numbers will hold their own with the decrease of fluids...La Dee Da....Buddie will still have to go three times a week...but NOT me.....La Dee Da!!
So, my furfriends, that is the scoop on my vet trips yesterday and today....
I am singing because I am happy the news was good...La Dee Da..La Dee Da....I went to the Special Vets yesterday..La Dee Da...La Dee Da.....Special Vet was happy with me...La Dee Da!!!!

Hello Furfriends!!
"The SisterHood of the Traveling Fur Pants' have returned home safe
and sound and worn out!!! Whew..what a wonderfully exciting trip!! I have
never done so many daring things before.... ELE
and
Sparkle
really know how to have an exciting time.....now, if I had to do it, we would
ONLY sit on the beach and sip tuna smoothies from a frosty glass and watch waves BUT when they are around, we snorkel, we mountain climb, we take hot air balloon rides which sometimes land in bamboo patches...ouch!!.....we ride mini bikes, we bungee jump!! Well, you get the idea..I could live my life in the safety of the cool mall with Brother Buddies Black Charge Card in my hot little paw,
getting fluffed and manicured and pampered BUT my girlfurfriends know there is MORE to life than that!!! So, we embrace every moment to its fullest!!
Thanks my girlfurfriends!! You have made my life very adventuresome and worth every tangle in my fur and every broken beautiful nail!!

Mysterious STAR and Brother Buddie's Jet....off again!!!!

Oh, what an interesting Star I was sent....It was sent by "The Lucky
Feline Seven"..what a neat name!! What a neat surprise!! Mommie said
I could thank them in my diary since I don't know who they are...so:
THANK YOU LUCKY FELINE SEVEN from the bottom of my furry little
heart!!! How sweet of you all!!!!
My "SisterHood of the Traveling FurPants" has hit the road again..... Ele
and
Sparkle and I are whooping it up...we have been horseback riding,
mountain climbing and anything else a furgirl could think up....my girlfurfriends
are daring and we will try anything once!!!! So far, none of us have been harmed
and we will continue to keep it that way!!
We have taken Brother Buddie's jet to the Azores, and we are staying on
San Miguel Island at the San Miguel del Allende Hotel......we have three rooms side by side so we won't have to run out in the hallway in our kittynighties and bunny
shoes....hehehehhe
Yes, we are still getting our nails done and our little toes polished..not to mention our fur fluffed!! hehehe Can't live without that, my friends!
Well, I hear Ele and Spark at my door...seems we have another adventure on
the horizon....oh boy!!!!

WHY ME?? WHY ME?? HE SCREAMS TO ME.....

Hi Furfriends,
Today was a day of "first'....I saw Brother Buddie
sitting in HIS deck chair fluffing his fur in the gentle
Spring breeze...so, I took my life in my little
paws....I took a BIG breath and pounced on
the deck chair beside him...he gasp..he hissed...
he growled....then he asked: "WHY?? WHY??
Why are YOU up here near ME??" heheeheh
Oh, furfriends, if only you could of seen the
look in those green eyes!! It was worth a million
bucks!!
Well, after I explained that we were SHARING
for a change, he settled down and we co-existed
nicely.....for a while.....
Then daddy (kisskiss) called mommie to come
immediately to the deck....they said something
in human speak that sounded like "Switched at
the vets this morning..it can't be the real McKenna
and Buddie...side by side...getting
along"...then all of a sudden, they both were
out like a light!! Bam..on the deck floor.
Buddie and I just looked at each other, yawned
and went back to sleep, together on the same
deck chair..... And so it goes........

just pmailed me with an update about his health....his kidney and pancreas values are way up and he is getting fluids EVERY DAY!! His mommie gives them to him. They are waiting for test to come back to see exactly what is causing this....I will wait with my little paws crossed until we hear the results.
He is such a gentlefurman and he is strong too! I told him to FIGHT FIGHT and get better....I hope he will listen to me...after all, I am his furwife and we have the right to NAG!! hehehehe

RAIN, DROPS and KITTYCELLPHONES

Hello Furfriends,
On this rainy Saturday morning, daddy (kisskiss) packed us up and hauled
us off to the vets....boy, was I mad....I didn't make it easy for him but made
one fatal mistake..I ran into the bathroom...boom! They shut the door and I
was trapped..so then they turned their hunting skills on finding Brother Buddie.
Didn't take them long for him either..guess this rain makes our brains sort
water logged. heheh
Anyhow, got to the vet and I was weighed..have not lost..have not gained
but have not lost..my eye is still looking good so I guess I have skipped anymore
meds with that..the only problem now is I have an ear infection which will require drops twice a day...mommie tried to give me drops when they got home...friends, did you know I have the talent of putting my ear down on my head which renders it almost invisible?? Mommie can't find it in my multicolored head. ehehheheh
What a good talent, huh? Really brings out her hunting skills!! hehehe
So, now we are relaxed all happy and safe and warm and dry!! Mommie and daddy (kisskiss) will be going out shortly to find cans of wet food for us..
Friskies, I assume, since that seems to be one of two safe ones that have low protein for us to eat....AND WE LIKE IT!!! Yipee!!
I go to my special vets again on the 14th. I guess I will have all those test
done because I will have to stay all day long...I will remember to take my KittyCellPhone this time!! That way I can keep up with all my Furfriends and also call when I get scared or mad at something they are planning on doing to me. hehehhehehe

Hello My Furfriends!
Daddy (kisskiss) took me and that brother of mine to the vets today...we got
our fluids...she put some drops in my hurt eye (hurt from a scratch from last
week...possibly from when I was scratching my face) and used that black
light...well, I felt like I had been thrust back to the 80's and I was looking for
the silver shiny globe ball spinning from the ceiling....groovy.....well, I digress....she
said my eye scratch was 98% gone so I don't have to have those terrible eye
drops anymore!! YIPEE!! And I weigh 7.4!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yipee!! Don't' know how long
that will last because we can't find the California Natural that I sort of like around
here..when my humans went to PetSmart and PetCo today, the shelves were almost empty in the cat food department!! Hope I like what they brought home!
Well, anyhow, my furfriends, that is my happy diary entry for the day!!
Oh, I will start my new heart med tonight....so far, no treatment for the IBS since I seem to be doing ok with it right now....as it stands, I only have Kidney failure,
Heart disease and IBS....they all can be helped with meds! YIPEE!!!

JINGEL JANGLE BLOOD PRESSURE.....

Hello Again My Friends!!
Mommie found a vet on her side of town that could take my blood pressure
and do the blood work...we are home now and mommie faxed the info over
to the Special Vets a moment ago!
My blood pressure is down from 240 (on the 12th. of April) to 158!!!!!!!!!!!
We are so happy with that good report!! YIPEE!
The special vet now has to decide how to treat my IBS, my heart problems
and my kidney problems without every thing over lapping!! I say:
GOOD LUCK SPECIAL VET!!!!!!!! ehhehehhehehe
I am feeling great..even have gained some WEIGHT! I am now 7.5, my
friends!! I am jumping up on furniture again, looking out the windows,
sitting beside daddy(kisskiss) and even swatting at Brother Buddie once
and a while...heehheh
All in all, I would say things are looking UP for me!!
Again, I want to THANK EVERYONE for praying for me and sending such
good thoughts my way....I wore all my Healing Rosettes and Stars to the
new vet today and boy, did I jingle and jangled when I walked!! hehehehe
He thought they were all so lovely and told me not to take them off!! I was
not planning on doing that anyhow, but, really won't now!!

EYE OWEE AND THE WAIT IS- OVER...OVER...OVER...OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Furfriends,
Our vet just called...I DO NOT have cancer!! YIPEE and we are doing the
happy
paw dance in Tennessee..the State is rocking under our clomping....hehhehe
We were so happy over the 'no cancer' report that it slipped our mind to ask
about my heart problems but we have to call them tomorrow so we will ask
then.
They are going to treat me for IBS right now...tomorrow I have to go and
have two SMALL test done..nothing difficult. Then, based on that, they
will start treatment.
On top of all this waiting, on Monday night, I somehow scratched my eye
which has remained closed since....mommie took me to the vets on Monday
and they put a drop in my eye and then used a black light to look in it. The vet saw a scratch....I must of scratched it when I was rubbing my face. I have two meds
that go in my eye several times a day. But this should heal fast!!!
So, my friends, my Eye OWEE is getting better and the wait is over!!
I am a happy little McKenna tonight!!
Thank you for ALL your kitty prayers, my friends!! They have worked

the results came in but she "has not had time to read/study them",
they told us when we called. So, my sweet furfriends, I PROMISE
that the moment I hear, you will too!
Also, I was very excited to hear that I was one of the Diary Picks
for today....I didn't know until later this afternoon and ended up
doing the Happy Paw dance on my unfurred little front legs....hehehe

Also, I am STILL waiting for my test results...since it is after five on

Well, daddy (kisskiss) said he would call first thing Monday morning to see what he can find out....he is so good to me...last night he got in at two in the morning from his business trip and instead of waking mom up to kiss her hello, he put MY new food in a dish and watched me gobble it up....I have been mad at mommie for
taking my new Dick Van Patten food away from me when she got scared when some of it was recalled..I was pouting and would not eat for her. heheheh That will show her!!! heheheheh But, now daddy (kisskiss) went shopping for me while he was on
his business trip and brought home new good natural food for me....California
Natura....we hope it will be ok..you never can tell these days, can you friends?
One day the food you are eating is ok, then next it is on the 'do NOT eat' list. Oh my!!! I worry about all my Catster friends and what goes into their little mouths!!!

IT'S SATURDAY NIGHT..DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR MCKENNA IS?

Hello Furfriends,
First of all, thank you ALL for the support, prayers and sweet
notes, Rosettes and Stars you have sent!! I am so overwhelmed!
I spent last night and all day today under the BIG bed....mommie
looked in on me around four and I PURRED real loud for her...then
she left.
Daddy (kisskiss) came in about an hour later and I had made
my way to the kitchen by then to investigate what had gone on while
I was
gone...well, he told me they bought NEW food for ME..just for ME!!
He put some on a plate and I gobbled it all up...I ate HALF of a small
can of it!!!!!! Daddy (kisskiss) was smiling so big...about that time
mommie came down
the steps and scared me and I ran under the bed again.....she didn't
realize I was dining! It made her sad.
Anyhow, daddy put a plate outside of the bed where I was hiding...
they went into the kitchen and ate some pizza....Buddie, meanwhile,
made his way up the steps and stopped dead in his tracks....*sniff,
sniff*, he went......he smelled NEW EXOTIC foodstuff...he quietly
went into the bedroom where I was hiding and sniffed out MY new
food...gobble gobble....before I could blink, he had inhaled it....mommie
and daddy found him with strange crumbs covering his face and
knew immediately what he had done!!!!! They were not pleased!!
So, now, I have new fresh EXOTIC food sitting beside my hiding place....
just for ME!!!! And the door is closed!!! NO Buddie!! hehe

I'M HOME...LA-TEE-DA....

Hello Furfriends,
I just got home....yipee! MY own home, MY own food bowl,
My own water bowl and MY own litterbox! hehe I am so happy.
We really don't know a lot...they gave me fluids all last night
and some today...they did 'test' on me all day today too..now
little parts of me have been sent all over the place for something
called 'testing'.....and they keep talking about 'results'.....well,
those 'results' won't be back for a FULL week! Mommie said she
would pull her hair out WAITING for them!! Daddy is beside
himself thinking about the waiting...BUT, we have to do it.
My special doctor said some of my numbers looked better today
due to having the fluids....one good thing is that I don't have to
start going everyday for fluids....I can stay with the three times
a week and still go with Brother Buddie!! I know that will thrill
him.....hehehhehe
Mommie showed me ALL the Healing STARS, ROSETTES and
WELL WISHES by CATMAIL you sent while I was gone....OH
THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH! I feel so loved and fuzzy
and happy inside.....my friends are the BEST!!!!
Well, I am a little wobbly and woozy tonight so my parents
want to keep me in a safe room for a few hours and 'watch me'.
hehehheheh Oh, this will drive Buddie crazy.....he is NOT
the center of attention tonight!! heeheh

I WILL MISS MY LITTLE BED AT HOME TONIGHT.....

Hello Furfriends,
I am spending the night in the hospital
in Franklin, Tn. tonight...at the special vets.
Mommie and daddy took me over early this
morning for 'test'....after 'test' all day long
some of the things they decided I have are:
Heart disease, high blood pressure,
nodules in my pancreas, my
lymph nodes are enlarged and there are
nodules in my intestines.
There will be more 'test' tomorrow...one
thing will be an endoscope to see about
the nodules in my intestines and other things
too.
The only thing I am unhappy about is that
last night I didn't get any food at all....only
water!!
Tonight the special vets will feed me and also
give me fluids for about four hours. That should
help some of my numbers that have gone up too
high.
I am fine, my friends...mommie and daddy gave
me lots and lots of kisses before they left tonight
and said that Brother Buddie called on his
KittyCellPhone for them to tell me that he also
loved me and will miss me tonight. Sometimes Brother
Buddie can be nice. hehehe
They will come get me late tomorrow afternoon
and I will update my diary then!!!

LIFE IS GOOD AND BROTHER BUDDIE IS BAD!!

Hi My Furface Friends,
Today my mommie took me and Brother Buddie on a vet trip today.
I didn't know it was vet day (no 'heads up' from my protector....Brother Buddie..he will PAY for that slip up...hehehhe)
so I was asleep in a corner....easy pickings...hehheeh
They weighed me...I have gained TWO ounces..now I am 7.7lbs. I think
if forgot to tell you that mommie was so worried over all this food problem
stuff, she took me and Brother Buddie off our NF canned foods....so, we
ended up losing weight..anyhow, after lot's of telephone calls to different
places, they just started us back on the Purina NF. Now, we are gaining
some weight that we had lost!!
Today was also blood work day...well, they got some blood from me and I
was SUCH a good little girl because I laid there and purred the whole time...well,
something happened to the syringe and they couldn't use the blood!! OH MY!!
So, when I go Wednesday, I heard them say they would do it again. OH MY!!
Well, anyhow, Brother and I were good little furkids for our fluids today
and went out on the screened in porch after we got home to watch the
trees bloom and the birds sing.

FURPANTS AND LANDLOCKED FURFRIENDS...

Hello LandLocked FurFriends!!
This Sunday, Brother Buddie flew my "SisterHood of the Traveling
FurPants" girlfurfriends, Ele
and Sparkle
on his private jet down to Florida to catch the GIANT ship "Freedom of the Sea" for a week long cruise to Cozumel, George Town, Montego Bay and Labadee!!!!
Oh my friends, he also just got his BLACK CHARGE CARD and it still smells fresh
and new.....are we putting it to a workout?!?!??!! You bet your bippy!! hehehhe
We have bought such pretty silver jewelry that was handmade by the local
townspeople.....oh, it is all so lovely...they have SUCH talent! I am amazed!!
We have been rock climbing and I am afraid of heights but with Ele and Spark
by my side I have turned into "FEARLESS MCKENNA".....I climb, I snorkel,
I parasail, I swim with the Sharks...well, almost....that one didn't quite fly
with me.....but I am doing it ALL, my friends....my fur is flying in the breeze
as I moped around the Islands keeping up with my girlfurfriends!! WOWEE!!
What fun we are having!!
Well off to a delicious dinner of who knows what?? I will let Ele and Spark
pick the dish for tonight! hehehhe

STRONG HANDS, WARM SUN ROOM AND LIFE FEELS GOOD....

Hello Friends,
I have to say that my humans have it easy when it comes to taking
me anywhere compared to the feline terror known as "Brother Buddie"...
today was our fun filled trip to the vets!
I was sleeping peacefully under the open windows in the computer room
on two fluffy pillows dreaming of the next trip I am to take with Ele and Spark tomorrow..when --POOF--I felt two strong hands scoop me up and lay me
gently into my open top carrier. I said not a word...I only opened my eyes
to see daddy's (kisskiss) sweet face smiling at me and saying what a loving little
girl I am.
Then about five minutes later I heard a commotion which had to be that
Orange Trouble Maker known as Mr. B. Oh my....he can tell you about that...
NOT ME.
Anyway, we went to the vets for fluids..I wore my new and old healing Rosettes and everyone said the green matched my eyes...ahh...I always feel special there...I have lost a little weight but other than that, am fine. I will return on
Tuesday for more of the same.
When we got home, mommie opened the sun room and we both poured out
into the warmth and to listen to the birds singing....it may not be Spring quite yet, my
friends, but it sure feels and looks like it....oh my, life is good!!

FLUIDS, PURRING AND KNIVES.....

Hi EveryFurBody!!
It's me...Little McKenna...I went for my fluids today with Big Bad
Brother Buddie....did he protect me?? NOOOO...I was still captured
this morning by the human hands..I tried to flee but all the normal
fleeing doors were all closed off..wonder who did that? I bet Big Bad
Brother Buddie knows..in fact, he might of done it himself!! Well, on second
thought, since it concerns him going to the vets also, he probably
didn't!
Anyhow, I did fine....they all say I am such a good fluid taker..I just
lay there and purr!! I will go back on Tuesday for some blood work
but I just know that I will have GOOD numbers! After all, I have my
sweet daddy (kisskiss) feeding me every time I turn around. Ahh..life
is good, my friends!!
Well, off to watch mommie in the kitchen trying to cook for sweet
daddy (kisskiss)..that man is a SAINT! ( I won't go into details
but it concerns HER in the kitchen with real live fresh food in
her hands and KNIVES too)..hehhehe

RUNNING FOR MY LITTLE LIFE.....

Helllo Furfriends!!
Today was fluid day for me and Brother Buddie...boy, did we give the
humans a run for their money.....first they tried to catch ME because (I overheard them say) I am the 'easiest' one to capture....so, they closed off two bedroom doors and only the house was left to hide in.....I heard daddy (kisskiss) coming to get me...so what did I do?? I ran...I ran for my life...I was lickity split up the front steps, down the long hall, and went out the back steps.....heheheh I heard
Daddy (kisskiss) call for HER to stand in front of one of the steps....SHE didn't make it in time and I ran thru the family room and saw a nice big couch that I could hide
behind....after they moved the couch, I escaped again and went up the back steps and down the long hall headed towards the front steps...well, SHE got smart and
was crouching down ready to catch me...I tried to make myself real small and fast...it didn't work and SHE captured me....BOOM!! I was in the carrier....crying the whole time....
Off we went to the vets (after they captured Buddie...which I will let him tell you about in his diary).....I got fluids and nothing else! Yahoo....I will go in Monday
afternoon for more fluids and lots of blood work and to be weighed. So we will know much more after Monday...daddy (kisskiss) will be home early Monday to take us....my daddy (kisskiss) is the best, furfriends..you never have to worry about my safety or health as long as daddy (kisskiss) is in charge!! Now for "HER"....well, that is a different story...humm......

TWIN VET TRIP.....TWIN FLUID TRIP....WOW-WEE....

Hello my Furryfriends,
All was well until this afternoon when I was visiting "Towel Land"....let me
explain "Towel Land" first....daddy (kisskiss) and mommie will open the
cabinets that hold all the wonderful fluffy soft towels in the bathroom..they let
ME climb all over them and sit in the cabinet all safe and warm and cuddly on top of the clean towels...anyhow, that has always been called "Towel Land"...like "Little McKenna, would you like to visit Towel Land now??"....hehehe..actually
I must thank my sister, Mookie, for inventing that one...anyhow, I was in "Towel Land", cooling it, watching HER brush those fangs she has....when all of a sudden daddy (kisskiss) came in and closed the door...I heard whispering...I heard the word
'vet'....friends, I was trapped!!! No place to run..daddy (kisskiss) had already caught poor unaware Brother Buddie and now it was MY turn....well, off we went.......
daddy (kisskiss), HER, brother Buddie and poor little me......to the VETS!!!!
I went first....they weighed me...well, I have lost about two pounds in the past
six weeks....they took blood and gave me fluids....I have to go back again this week for another treatment of 'fluids'....anyhow, from the blood work today, they have decided I have CRF...a mild case and that is probably why I am so tiny now....hopefully, there will be a good program for us to follow within the next week or two and I will be able to 'hold my own'....I do have to give up my DELICIOUS
A/D canned food I have been snacking on (for gaining weight).... I was so happy to be able to eat that and Buddie never could have any....bad for his CRF.....his is worse than mine.....anyway, friends, the news is not all that bad....at least they think they know what is going on right now, and the humans will pick up some new potassium meds for me this afternoon to start on and hopefully that will fix the problem!!!! It will be fish flavored too..yummy!! heheeh And
Buddie WON'T get any so he will be so mad...I am looking forward to
that!!! Well, wish me luck on being a good little girl with taking the new meds...I am NOT noted for being a good medicine taker....you can look at daddy's (kisskiss) marked up hands for that evidence.

This has been the BEST trip!! Oh my....we have been sand bunnies since
our jet landed.....walking in it, rolling in it and doing everything but EATING

We have been sightseeing and even saw where they filmed some of the
"Survivors-Fiji" TV program....they had to 'tuff' it out, we heard..not like what
we are doing....a TEN Star Hotel with our own Chef Mow Wee, when we need
or want him, to prepare 1:00 AM light snacks for hungry little mouths....hehehhe
Anyway, Ele is finally calming down some and relaxing....Spark is getting
more fluffy and I am just chillin'.......hehhehe No Brother Buddie equals HEAVEN.

PAWPRINTS AND BUBBLEBATHS!!

Hello FurFriends!
WHEW!! Sparkle, Ele and I are HOME!! Our jet landed just a little
while ago and we are jet lagged but happy little shoppers!!!
I have to tell you that while we were out sight seeing, a very
nice older Oriental Short Hair furgentleman with unusual markings stopped
and asked for Ele's autograph...he thought she was a very famous
American furactress!!!! Of course she didn't burst his bubble and
gave him a paw print...we laughed all the way to the next LARGE
boutique....he left
with a satisfied smile on his handsome face!!
Well, my friends. Sparkle is safely back home and having some of her
human brothers birthday cake, Ele is unpacking her packages with the
'help' of her brother, Gimme, and I am going to soak in my copper
tub!!! Ahhhh......I brought home some delicious smelling bubble
bath and will soak for a few hours!!! Brother Buddie better leave me

TOKYO AND THE FLUFF MACHINE.......

Hello FurFriends!!
OH MY...what fun we are having......Ele
ELE
and Sparkle
SPARKLE
and I are seeing things we thought we would never see, eating things
we REALLY thought we would never eat..hehhehe.... and shopping
more than our jet will be able to hold!!
We will have to return home tomorrow but that is fine...we got to stay a few
extra days much to my shopping happiness....Tokyo is beautiful beyond
words....the people are so kind and helpful.....the weather has been
purr-fect JUST FOR US!!
Well, my diary will have to stop now...I hear Ele and Spark at my door..
they have on their bathing suits...they want to swim in the Hotel Pool
and then get some beauty treatments....my friends, I don't know what this place
uses in their fur fluffing machine but it works magic....I am fluffed out to the MAX!!

TOKYO...HOHOHO

Hello Friends,
Early this morning, Ele ,
Sparkle
and I jetted off to TOKYO
for some shopping! We relaxed on the plane by having our
nails done, our fur fluffed, facials and a massage to calm us
down from the jitters of flying....our Chef, Chef Me-ow,
cooked us a wonderful breakfast of a raw fish omlette and
tuna melts..anyhow, we landed safe and sound and now have
made it to our lovely rooms...we each have our own room
on the top floor side by side. After a good nights sleep, we
will hit the BIG MALL that is about the size of a small TN.
town! We will shop our little whiskers off this weekend, go
to wonderful eating places, and take in some shows....not
to mention seeing some of the sights! This place is very
big and very clean and very pretty!!
Well, better hit the sack now....we are all tired right now
and I want to be fresh faced for tomorrow...it is a heavy
duty shopping day!!

HAPPY PAWS AND HAPPY WHISKERS!!!

My Furfriends!!
Mommie took me to the vets today for the specialist to do ALL those test
to me!!! They said I was so good and didn't give them any problems!!
The test showed NO tumor on me--in me--around me--on top of me--below
me--well, you get the idea....my furfriends...I am TUMOR FREE!!!! Mommie
and daddy are doing the happy paw dance...well, daddy is doing it at work (bet that is a sight!) and mommie is dancing around the house with me in her arms....as long as she does NOT sing to me, all will be well!!!!
Dr. G said the mass they saw yesterday is not showing up on this highly purr-fected machine they used on me....and I don't need a needle biopsy either
since nothing was showing up!!! Oh, happy days!!!! They are amazed...I am amazed....mommie is amazed....daddy is amazed!! Oh, my!! My whole world
is amazed....hehheheh
Now, I must say THANK YOU to everyone who sent me good wishes, prayers
and healing purrs!!! Again, as with Buddie, they worked!! My, what powerful
healing is in YOUR purrs, my friends!!!
I told Buddie he can NEVER EVER stop sending out the GANG'S Healing
Rosette's to any sick kitties (or doggies) that we know of so they can get well
too!!!! So, keep letting us know when you run across any little one's in need!
I am going to eat a BIG plate of food and make up for what I missed last
night and this morning!

MAYBE BETTER NEWS TOMORROW....

Hello Furfriends,
I let daddy take me to the vets this afternoon!! I walked right into
my carrier and purred....I was so good.
We got to the vets and I would not let them take blood from me BUT
I did let them take a picture of my cute insides!!
Our news was not all that good...they told Daddy I have a tumor on
my liver. They don't know what it is but, as luck would have it, a specialist
will be coming to their office tomorrow so Mommie will take me tomorrow
morning
for special test that will show more about it. I don't know what we will find out tomorrow but we should know much more than we do today.
I feel really good and I play and purr and eat and drink!! I have lost a little
weight tho.....but they said I seemed in good shape.
The tumor could be nothing...as we well know from other Catster stories...not all tumors are bad news! So, mommie and daddy are praying for it to be nothing.
Mommie will take me in tomorrow morning and I will probably stay most
of the day. I won't be able to eat or drink after nine tonight so I won't be happy when I realize that! hehhe
Tomorrow Brother Buddie has an appointment at two, so I might catch a glimpse of him coming or going, so maybe that will perk me up while they do stuff to me!

IS SHE TRYING TO KILL ME??????

Furfriends!!
Oh, what a day!! First SHE put me into Mookie's old carrier (because it is much smaller --SHE said -- and has a plastic top that I can see out of).....then I get put into the "Catmobile" (what SHE calls her car now)....then SHE, Buddie and I were off
to the vet office. After we got there, SHE let Buddie go first since he was only getting
fluids....Lucky him! I was weighed (which by the way, I now weigh NINE pounds so I gained some....thanks to my sweet loving kind Daddy's (kiss kiss) feeding me night and day)...anyway, back to HER.....they finished with Buddie and then it was my turn....they came and got me...SHE tried to kiss me goodbye but I would HAVE NONE OF HER SUGAR!!! I turned my back on HER.....after all, I would not be here if SHE had not taken me in HER Catmobile....anyway, the humans in white took me to the
back rooms....they are cold and scary. They wanted to take my blood...they told me it
would only take a moment....ha!! I screamed my little lungs out...I hissed.....I squirmed....then I got mad and FOUGHT!!! FOUGHT HARD!! They were NOT getting my blood this morning!!! Well, anyhow, after having an unfortunate accident from
being so upset (of the wet kind), they tried to lay me down on the cold hard metal
bed.....NO, I screamed...no pictures of my insides.....not today!!! Then they put me in my carrier and left the room. I heard them talking to HER about leaving me for the afternoon so I could "relax"......RELAX???? What are they thinking???? Where is MY Daddy (kiss kiss) when I need him?? Well, after hours of relaxation (yea, right), they pulled me out of my carrier again and shaved a little of my neck to try to take blood again....NO, I screamed again...NO, to the metal table too!! NO NO NO NO!! So, they called HER and SHE came and got me in HER Catmobile!!!! On the way home, SHE told me
SHE loved me and that I will have to go back this upcoming week to try the test
again. Does SHE love me or is SHE trying to slowly KILL me?? Oh, maybe Daddy (kiss kiss)
will be off next week and HE can take me.....I will let the vet take the blood from
me ONLY if Daddy (kiss kiss) is there by my side!! And I will let them take pictures of my insides if Daddy (kiss kiss) will be there to hold my paw!!! If he is NOT there, there will be NO blood and NO inside pictures....but, I did hear them tell HER that if I don't cooperate, they will have to GAS me!!! Oh my kitty heavens!!!! HELP!!!!!

TUESDAY?? TUESDAY??

Hi Everyfurbody!!
Brother Buddie gleefully told me that I will be going to the vets
with him this Tuesday. He overheard the vet telling my humans
that they wanted to do the 'special' blood work on me then along
with something called a sonogram. He told me that he would stay
in the same room with me (if they let him) and even HOLD MY PAW
for me because I will be scared. Furfriends, why is he being so kind
to me?? Is there something I don't know about myself?? I choose to
think that I am fine and that he is FINALLY coming around to being
the very kind, sweet, caring and considerate furbrother that he should
be...after all, he is all those things to his Beautiful Miss Hazel Lucy!!!
Why not me too?? hehhehe
Well, until Tuesday...vet time and we also will see how well Buddie
holds up his end of the deal!!

FROZEN TABLES AND AN ART FORM OF PLEASURE.....

Hello Everyone,
Today daddy surprised me and before I knew what was going
on....bam...I was in that little cage going out the front door....the
leaves were blowing all around and, friends, it IS cold on the other
side of that front door...mommie was right! heheh
They took Buddie first..he got lots of blood work done...I watched
it all with eyes as big as saucers. I thought they just brought me along
to give Brother Buddie support.....well, I was WRONG!!! Next, the hands
were on me..taking me out of my happy warm little safe cage....the needles
went into me too!! I screamed...I cried....I squirmed....none of that helped.
They only laughed at me...my screams, cries and squirms are not all that loud
or physical since I am on the tiny side. Anyway, they put me under some
big old machine that was suppose take a picture of my insides. I had to lay
real still...well, the table was so cold that I couldn't move because I thought
I was frozen to it!!!! I had a few other unhappy things happen to me and then,
before I knew it, I was back in the safety of my cage!!
They told Daddy I had lost more weight and they thought I might be getting
another bladder infection....so it is Baytril shots for me for at least a week!
They are not sure why I am loosing weight....so this upcoming week I will
have something called a sonogram. That is suppose to check for hidden masses.
After I am off my Baytril, I will have some special blood work done to check for something called 'peri-thyroid'.....mommie is not sure of the spelling or even the wording since it all came from daddy. hehehhe
But, I feel good!!! I am eating!! I am drinking!! I am running around the house!!
I make Buddie get fussed at by the humans a lot!!! They think he is bugging me but (to tell the truth) I egg him on....then, when the humans look the other way,
he jumps on me....and what do they see when they look back at me screaming??
Buddie on top of me --hitting me and I am laying there like a tiny little victim!!!!
My friends....I have this down to an art form!! But, please don't tell on me. This
is my ONLY pleasure in life!! hehehe

Oh well.... Ele!
and I had to jet home today...I can't believe our week of
shopping and fun has come to an end.....boo hoo.....we shopped our little
paws off.....our packages are from Paris, England, Spain and Chicago....we
ate our way around the world.....we sun bathed, we were pampered, we
strutted our girly girl stuff all around the Continent....we drove the furmen
WILD....Oreo and Mel, don't worry...this is just innocent fun...nothing
serious....we wore the highest heels, the most dangling earrings, the most
beautiful dresses and we danced our little fluffed up tails off!!!! Will life ever
be the same? Well, I guess jet lag has hit me hard now....off to my bed.
Brother Buddie better stay out of my way....I am not responsible for my actions tonight!! Gurr....hiss...gurr......

OH MY...PARIS FRANCE

Hello Friends,
Brother Buddie and his beautiful wife, Miss Hazel Lucy,
kindly lent me the jet this week.....so, what did I do??
I took Ele to Paris, France -- among other places -- to
shop!!! We are going to shop our paws off!! Shop till
we drop!! Shop till our whiskers curl and fall out of our
faces.....well, you get the picture!! We will finish out
Paris, stay in the most expensive Hotel here tonight, dine at the
most expensive restaurant in town and then get up and do it
all over again tomorrow....then tomorrow afternoon, we will
take the Jet and fly to London...there we will hit the most
trendy stores and dine till our tummys pop!! heheheh
Then, after London, we will fly to Spain, and hit the sandy
beaches of the Mediterranean sea!! Oh wow!!
Ele also wants
to stop by Chicago, to the Ford Center to see "Wicked" (that is where
her name comes from), and have dinner and cocktails
on the 94th. floor of the Signature Room in the John
Hancock Building.
WOW!!!!!!!!!! This should be fun!!!!!!! We will do this probably
Wednesday!! Oh, will be we dressed to the NINE'S for that
production!
MEEOWWEEEE....hehehe
Well, to be fair to all, I must tell you--The whole trip is being
funded by Buddie's Anonymous Beneficiary who gave him the
jet for his Wedding and Year Long Honeymoon....he also
GAVE us a brand spanking new GOLD card to use till our
little paws were too weary to sign our names any longer...how
how sweet that is!!!!
Well, my friends, I must get back to the shops...they are calling
my name---MCKENNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello My Friends,
Yesterday I was Cat of the Day...boy, I was strutting around like
a BIG little girl....I jumped in front of Brother Buddie when he was
getting his canned good smelling food, I jumped in front of him
when he wanted to look out his favortie window, and I took over his
favorite deck chair....hehehhe Well, now it is TODAY and things are
back to normal....he is back to being the BOSS of the house...well,
I will tell you a secret.....I am SO happy he is well and here on Earth,
that I am not letting him know I don't mind him chasing me around
the house or bugging me!! He is here and that is all that matters!

Hello Furfaces!
Mommie turned on the computer this morning and noticed
we got lots of emails from sweet furfaces everywhere..she didn't know WHAT was going on...then she noticed the words "CAT OF THE DAY" and "MCKENNA" in the same sentence.....then she grabbed me and showed
me MY face in the spot where the "CAT OF THE DAY" kitties usually sit..she said" "McKenna--that is YOU--red nose and all"!!!!!
I was shocked!! ME?? ME?? The one who sort of gets overlooked all the
time because I am healthy and sweet and never cause any problems
anywhere I go.....ME? ME?.....Now I have something Brother Buddie
does not have and never has had.....hehhehehe....I am CAT OF THE DAY!!

I TOOK BUDDIE TO THE VETS TODAY....

Hey Everybody!!
I thought I was just taking Buddie to the vets today with daddy
since mommie is sick with a sinus infection and could not go with
the 'men'...little did I know I was going to be looked over too!! Why
don't they tell me these things???
Anyhow, they took some blood from me and also put me on some
cold scales....I wanted Buddie to go first so he could warm them up
for me but they said "Ladies First"....so, off I went.
I have lost a little over a pound in the past six months but that
could be due to my Honeymoon I have been on for the past few months!!
We have been hitting every Port in the USA!!!! Dancing our paws off!!!!
Swimming up a storm!!!! Shopping in every store!!!! Oh, what fun....
Dr. G said I was looking good and fluffy with shiny fur too...and bright
eyes....I guess that is what love can do for a little girl, huh?
I am not worried about my test....oh, one good thing is that I can start
eating one of Brother Buddie's canned foods...I love it but mommie and
daddy didn't know if it would be good for me so I would have to sneak
a bite or two when Brother Buddie was not looking....now I can have ALL
of it I want!! OH BOY!!!!
Well, I guess I will go and give daddy the 'eye' to open a new can of food
for me---huh, I mean Brother Buddie..he needs it to gain weight and I will just
happen to be there too....hehehheh

UHOH....WEDDING TIME FOR MCKENNA....

Hello Everyfurbody!!
I had my wedding June 10th!! MINE!! ALL MINE!! It started off sort of shaky tho....Daddy kept trying to put the Nun's habit on me instead of my beautiful
wedding dress!! Why does he insist on doing something so silly?? Now he is walking around the house muttering the words "ANNULMENT"...what does that mean, friends? Anyway, the wedding was the stuff dreams are made of....My new husband, Mel, has the most romantic heart a furgentleman could ever have! He gifted me with a poem he had written with his own little paws...as he read it during the ceremony,
tears ran down my furface....we exchanged our vows and kissed and then off to the
PARTY!!!! We hired "Josey and the Pussycats" again as they played at Buddie and The Beautiful Miss Hazel Lucy of Catster Fame's wedding and also played at the party we had celebrating the elopement of Ricki and his Pretty Little Midnight....all of our Catster friends were flown in by Mookie and Angel and escorted home safe and
sound the same way! The food was out of this world...Hazel Lucy and Midnight cooked all day long on Friday fixing only New Orleans dishes in honor of Mel's hometown! I have never had
any before and, I must tell you, wish I had a big plate of hushpuppies right now!
One of the highlights of the night was my beloved brother, Ricki, coming back
to escort his furwife, Midnight, to the party!! He looked all fluffy and healthy again
and had the biggest smile on his face....he danced with so many furladies and
humanladies too. Mel's parents kicked up their heels and show us a few steps only known to people from the exciting town of New Orleans!! My mommie and daddy
danced to the slow music and then sat back and just enjoyed the evening.
Friends, I am so very happy....I had all my family, friends and my hunk of new
husband beside me...what more could a little furgirl want?? Life is full. Life
is complete. Life is good.
Thank you everyone for showing up and wishing us well.
We are on our honeymoon laying on a warm sandy beach right now and Mel is
reading a book of poetry to me with his velvet voice!! Oh My!! Can't believe he
is mine....ALL MINE!!!

THE WEDDING DRESS.....

Hello Everyfurbody,
Mommie finally got my wedding photos done....she was not happy with
my pictures but I was!! Finally, a REAL BRIDE....me...McKenna!! Always
the bridesmaid but never the bride....now I am a real BRIDE....my Mel
looked so handsome in his tux and he looked at me with stars in his eyes!!
Oh my!! I felt like a princess...mommie added little rose colored roses to
my dress and veil by hand....I don't know if you can see that in the picture
tho. I would not wear my shoes so I went shoeless..hehehe I had to have
SOME control over the wedding!!
I will write about the actual event and the party soon...I just wanted to
say 'Hello' to everyfurbody and tell you that I am so happy with MY
MEL!!!!! Oh, he is wonderful.

My sister in laws, Hazel Lucy and Midnight, are going to start cooking
tomorrow morning at 8AM...that is early to me and you!! hehe All
New Orleans food..my little tummyhas never had any so this will be
a treat. I did pick out a nice normal bland cake, so never fear. ha!!!
Please come EVERYBODY!! EVERYBODY!!! You are ALL invited. It is all
virtual so Mookie and Angel will be picking everyone up and will bring you
home....we can hold thousands and thousands of kitties and humans.....hehe

George. She is so excited!!

My Friends,
It is with a very heavy paw that I write this entry...my sweet brother
Ricki went to Kitty Heaven this week.
He was the best brother a little furgirl could have. He taught me how
to NOT be afraid of everything and to try to embrace life.
I must learn fast because I am getting married June 10th. Ricki told me
I must not postpone the wedding to Handsome Mel because he will be there as a Kitty Angel
with his furwife, Pretty Midnight.

Wedding Dress Shopping

Hello Friends,
Today Mommie took me shopping for my Wedding Dress...she said it had to
be purr-fect for her little girl. It had to be WHITE with a WHITE veil and have
some tiny flowers somewhere in it. Oh, we shopped and shopped all day....I ask
you, Feline Friends, what is it with HUMANS AND SHOPPING??? It is NOT fun!
Anyhow, we did find MY pur-fect dress...it IS WHITE and it has a WHITE veil.
Oh, I can't believe my dress is now sitting on the table where I can sniff it till my heart is content. Oh my. Daddy will be home in a few hours so mommie will have to break this to him gently....he says the only dress I will be wearing is called a HABIT
and it is BLACK..not my best color.....what is a little furgirl to do??

I attended my brother Ricki's wedding to the lovely and sweet
Midnight who is MY new sister Wednesday night...I have two sisters now on earth ...the Beautiful Miss Hazel Lucy of Catster Fame and now my Midnight.
The Handsome FurGentleman, Mel, my intended, joined us for all the fun
and excitement on the 19th. Mel held me in his strong and manly paws as
we twirled and swayed to the music of "Josie and the Pussycats" --oh, what
a magical night!! I wore my handmade necklace Mel sent me for our engagement
to the wedding and Mel wore his dressy necktie....oh, he looked so dapper!!
Ricki and Midnight were so touched that so many friends dropped what they had planned at the last minute to attend their wedding..I want to thank all of you too!!

Oh my, it has happened to ME....Miss Elise McKenna, formally known
