Arrival Story:
I first saw Shovel on the 24th of October, 2006. He was in a cage with his brother, Toothpick. They were still in 'quarantine' after being given to the no-kill shelter. Whoever owned them before had them neutered and de-clawed on all 4 paws. I fell in love and my husband and I went to the Shelter to pick up our new babies.

Bio:
Shovel passed away on 6/28/07 from Feline Infectious Peritonitis. I strongly suggest that you have your cats checked for this disease. It is terribly painful and had I known what it was earlier, I would have put him to sleep instead of having him suffer the way he did. FIP is incurable at this time.
