Beaker picked me out - when I went to visit the breeder, his sister Honeydew immediately jumped onto my shoulder, and Beaker curled up in my lap as soon as I sat down. He's a lovebug, and got his name from Beaker, the lab assistant on The Muppet Show (he sounds just like him!)
