Yankee was hit, starved, neglected and thrown out of a window. He is a beautiful and kind senior who suffers from asthma. Regardless of his traumatic past, Yankee is a loving and trusting boy who just wants to be loved. He is everyone's favorite at Gifford because of his willingness to forgive.
