Sympathy Cards Received Today

Today, mom received two beautiful sympathy cards. The first had a Japanese style
water color with the saying,
Unable are
the loved to die.
For love is
immortality. -Emily Dickinson

This was a beautiful sympathy card from a family of my friends here on Catster.
Thank You So Much.

The second card was from my Vet and her Staff. I always gave them an especially bad time. Two of the staff members said "She may not have appreciated us as much, but
I know she was deeply loved and a special friend for you."

It was very nice of the Staff to write to mom their feelings about my passing and it
surely helps us to read these messages.

A Letter For Me

Today, my mom took the framed photograph of me and placed it on the dining
room table. She wrote a lovely letter to me about how I came to live with her, how she always told me to remember I was beautiful and very smart and how I smelled so very very clean because I was a good groomer.

Then, she washed my blankies and toys and put them somewhere. She sat down and read a book about CATS! I don't know what she was thinking. Just turning large pages and looking at all sorts of Cats.

My Auntie Lindy was sent a card with kittens on it thanking her for all the times she helped to clip my nails and how she used to walk around the house holding me and pointing out new places in the house for me to see.

My friend, Bev telephoned mom and she has been a real trooper, calling and sending emails and her kitty, Remy has sent me (2) candles with nice notes each time. Mom feels best when talking with Bev.

I have received so many pawprayers and I especially enjoyed the ones from Lady and Ruby and family. These prayers mean a lot to me and thank you for them.

So, I received a letter today from my very own and it felt good.

Love From, Flora (ILM)
