Today is the big day!

Dear Diary,
I am so very nervous! Today is the day that I take the Lovely Kizzy out for a date. I have the picnic basket packed with wonderful goodies and treats: smoked sardines, all kinds of sushi, and fresh cream. Oh my... It's almost time to leave....... My tummy feels funny again.............

She said yes!!!!!!! We're going to have a date!!!!!!

Now I need to pick a place and time. I'm thinking maybe at the park by the lake. There's a big tree we could picnic under. I wonder what she is doing Sunday.....hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I sent Kizzy a gift and an invitation to play fetch. I thought that would be a fun first date. No pressure and I won't have to be thinking of something interesting to say every minute because we'll be running and playing. I hope she likes the idea. Maybe we could do a picnic too, and spend the entire day outside.

Oh wow!!!! I feel really strange

My head is just spinning .....what is the matter with me? Kizzy sent me a wonderful meal ... I mean REALLY fanCATstic ...but while I was eating it, every time I thought of Kizzy, my tummy felt weird. There were times I thought I was going to have to find one of my human's shoes so I could make a deposit. I mean...she's so BEAUTIFUL and PURRfect and she likes ME!!!! Well, I think she likes me...I'm pretty sure....Ohhhhhhhhhhh, there goes my tummy again. What do I do???? Do I play it cool? What if I say something stoopy???? Oh no!!!!!

Dear Diary,
With the help of my newly adopted Auntie Em, I worked up the courage to look for a girlfriend. Auntie Em has promised to screen all prospective applicants. I am soooo grateful 'cause I do not have a clue what to look for. I sent sweet little Kizzy a flower and lots of fishy treats. Hmmm, I wonder what my next step should be. I better have a talk with Auntie Em tomorrow. She'll know what to do.

Happy Birthday to me!!!!!!

Today I turn one year old. I started the morning by dropping a crumpled piece of paper on my mom's face. She laughed and threw it for me. We played fetch for a long time and then she got up, jumped in the shower got dressed and left. She always does that...every day she leaves me and doesn't come back until evening. She says she is going to "work" whatever that is. I wonder if she'll bring me something special today? At least the sun is out this morning. I better go find a good spot in front of the window before the girls hog it all.

It's Caturday!!!!!!

The human slaves are home. I love it!!!! All I have to do is purr in their direction and I get my back scratched and my belly rubbed. And when ever one of them has something to eat I get some too. They are very well trained. Every time Mom sits down I get to snuggle with her and she holds me close while I nap. *stretch* Hey, I see Saphira up on the window perch. I better go check out what she's looking at. Enjoy your weekend, I know I will!!!!

Where's the beef!?!?!? Gimme MORE!!!!

Dad used his new smoker for the first time today. He smoked a sirloin roast and beef ribs. I was sitting on top of the Tokyo cage when the meat was brought in. I tried to hitch a ride on the platter, you know to help guard the meat and keep it from harm. My offer of assistance was not greeted with much enthusiasm. Go figure ... Dad sliced off pieces for me to sample. Oh Man!!!!!!! I have never had anything so wonderful. Saphira came over and tried to get close to my dish ... AIN'T NO WAY!!!!! When I finished, I told Dad, rather louldly I might add, how much I really enjoyed it and how much I would appreciate some more. However, my compliments fell on deaf ears and he filled his own plate. Humfph. I think it's time for a nap.
