Arrival Story:
I saw her walking the fence with 2 other tiny litter-mates, and her mother who was a feral cat, who would chase anyone who got too close. I thought I should catch the kittens to help contol the population in our neighborhood while they were still young enough to tame. To my suprise, when i caught her, she shreaded my hands with teeth and claws. hissing & growling. The other kitten didn't fight like her. My thought was"no body" will want her, so I took her in myself. It took about 2 years of Patience before I could pet her, but thats not how she got her name.

Patience got her name, not becouse it took so long to tame her, but becouse when it came to feeding time, she was very loud, impatient and demanded she be the first to eat. I always said to her "Patience, my dear." Her best friend was Lucy; a bottle-fed baby who was my shadow, and Patience was hers. Lucy was my only link to taming her. When Lucy passed away 6 years ago, Patience life was shattered. She went back to being feral, and she Cryed at the top of her lungs every day, at their meeting place, under the bird cage. She stopped using the litter box, and started leaving her "Deposits" there, every day, hopeing that Lucy would find her. We have moved since, and to this day, no matter where the bird cage is, that is her spot. She uses puppy trainning pads (in front of the bird cage) now.

Forums Motto:
Patience, my Dear

The time has come:
Patience has been happy and healthy all her life, but her 9 lives have passed. She is now waiting at the Rainbow Bridge. She was a miracle kitty living almost 20 years. Two weeks before her passing, she no longer wanted to eat, and took up residence on a warm blanket. She rarely moved from that spot. i just knew the time had come.
