Arrival Story:
My previous cat, Poster Nutbag, had suddenly run away from home while I was in the process of packing to move to a new house. After searching for a week to no avail, I moved into my new house with no cat. My friend Robin brought Ruth by as a housewarming gift. I named her Ruth after Ruth Underwood, who played mallet percussion with Frank Zappa's bands of the late 60s through the mid 70s.
