I really don't like the cat carrier things! They're so confining! I really test out my vocal cords when I get shoved in one of those things! I really like to hit those high notes when I'm in the car. It echoes so nicely! Maybe I could be a back-up singer for Mariah Carey. Is she taking any auditions?
I got shoved in the carrier because I had to go to the vet today for a booster shot. I have one more in a month and I'm really not looking forward to it!
Lucky went to the vet today too. But what I don't understand is that he didn't make one sound the entire time he was in the carrier. Not one! Is he ill? Was he drugged? I don't get it. He just layed there and looked out the window. What's wrong with that boy? So, I tried to have a conversation with him but he never answered. How rude! So, eventually I gave up and kept my opinions to myself. I really didn't have very much to say the rest of the trip. He really was strangely quiet. Later on, after we came home, Lucky told me that he was just trying to be a good role model for me. He said it's no use crying at the top of our lungs or trying to get out of the carrier. We're wasting our time. Lucky's a good brother, isn't he?
Well, I weighed in today at 5 pounds even. Supposedly a good rule of thumb for kitten weight is a pound a month. So for the first six months, I should be the same weight in pounds as my age in months. Well, I'm a little ahead of schedule. I'm only 15.5 weeks old (almost 4 months old) and I already weigh 5 pounds. Mom called me a little porker. What's a porker? Should I be insulted or was that a term of endearment? I couldn't tell.
Well, I just got done with my Fancy Feast as a treat for being such a good girl. Now it's time to work off a little bit of this pent up energy I have for being in the carrier for like 5 hours. Then maybe I'll snooze a little and work up my appetite again. That's one thing I don't have a problem with...food. It's all good to me! Hmmm...porker, huh? I'll have to look that word up on google or something. Maybe it's a type of food. If so, does mom want to eat me? She did call me "her" little porker. Were there others before me that I don't know about? All the kitties that were already in the house when I arrived are still around but mom doesn't call them that, just me. Now I'm getting scared! I'm going to go hide now. Let me know when I'm no longer her little porker, so I can come out of hiding!
