Arrival Story: We were thinking of adding a male kitty to our family. We have a 1 year old female and a 7 year old Border Colllie. On a Sunday afternoon we had just turned on our road when we saw a car in the middle of the road with a young girl holding a large pet carrier. The girl got back into the car and they drove on very slowly. We followed at a distance thinking they were dumping an unwanted pet. We finally saw the girl take the carrier and run up a driveway and then come back to the car without the carrier and drive off. I jumped out of the car and found the carrier between 2 parked cars in a neighbors driveway. The neighbors were not expecting a cat delivery so we took the kitty home. It was a white cat with orange spots on his head and body and an orange tail. After getting him home we discovered that the kitty was a male, just as we wanted.
Bio: We have since found out that Sammy is around 5 months old. He has plunged into our family at full speed. It seems this is his house and he is allowing the rest of us to live here. The Border Collie who followed the female cat, Sophie around for a year, has now swicthed her attention to Sammy. Sophie is getting a much needed vacation from being stared at all day long. Sammy is a brat one minute and a sweet baby the next. He seems to be teething and is using my feet and legs as his chew bones.
