Arrival Story:
Mom and Dad's 2 nephews and neice found me and my two brothers and three sisters, abandoned, when we were about 2 wks. old. Our eyes were not even opened yet. As the kid's mom could not take care of us she asked my present human mom and dad if they could do it. Boy they took such good care of us feeding us and keeping us clean and warm. Mom would put a plastic soda bottle filled with hot water in our kennel. She would wrap it up in a blanket and we would cuddle up to the bottle and go to sleep. Boy when it was time to eat what a noisey bunch we would be. But soon mom and dad would have us fed and cleaned and cuddled and ready to settle down again.

Bio:
One of the reasons I think mom and dad decided to keep me was because when I was tiny I could not digest my food properly. I would have a bit of fluid ozzzing from my butt. It would cake on my bottom and it would just be awful for me. Mom would put me into an empty Cool-whip container that was filled with warm water and a teaspoon of baking soda. She would hold me in there for five to ten minutes soaking my bottom. Then she would clean off my bottom with a baby wipe, wrap me up in a towel and dry me off... I never fussed or mussed when she did this for me. I knew she was helping me. After doing this, came the fun part. I would curl up in mom's lap and sleep so soundly. Mom would rub my tummy and scratch my ears and under my chin. I would go to sleep so fast and feel loved and warm and happy. Mom has added a couple of photos of me as a baby... her feeding me and one of what I looked like after one of my soakings in the Cool-Whip container. Can you tell by the look on my face that I am thinking, "She is trying to make things better for me & she is!" I just love my human mom! I also loves my brother Buddy. Buddy can not get to far out of my sight. If I can not find either mom or Buddy I will cry till one of them appears and then I am a happy cat again. I try to stay with mom while she is doing her chores around the house. She tells me that I am a lot of company for her while Dad works. I just know my human mom loves me a whole bunch cause she tell me so a lot!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!!
It has been quite a while since I have talked Mom into helping me
write in my diary. I hope you all can forgive me. My brother
Buddy has been keeping you all updated I am sure.

My life is a lovely one. I adore my mom and she keeps telling me
that I am beautiful and that she loves me very, very, very much.
Gosh it is a good feeling. Dad has taken a 4 foot dowel stick and
has tied a string on it. We play with it for a while every evening
I look forward to when he sits in his chair and we play.

I also have a wonderful time with Bumper, our new brother. He has
been with us for a year now and he is so much fun for me. Mom told
dad that I needed someone younger to play with as Buddy and Casey
are too lay back for me. Mom has two cat condos in front of their
big picture window in the living room. Bumper and I play tag a lot
on the condos and we also pick on each other when one of us is in
a lazy sleep mood. Then the fun begins. Mom is afraid we are
going to tip one of them over because we can get them a rockin
sometimes.

One of my favorite play times with mom is to play pitch and fetch.
Mom gave me some foil balls that she bought for me. We have so
much fun. Sometimes I will take them and drop them on her face
when she is in bed, at night. For some reason she does not want
to play with me then. I can't understand that because I do want
to play.

I also keep watch, at night, out the big window...mom closes the
curtains but I know how to part them and keep up with my guarding
duties.

That is all for now...I want to go pester mom and get her to play
with me before she starts doing housework.

By for now!!!!!!!!!!

A very early good morning to you all here on Catster. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.

My family and I had a very nice Christmas. Mom and dad treat us just grand. I have been pestering my mom to play pitch and fetch with a new foil ball that mom purchased for us kitties. Buddy, Casey and Bumper don't seem to want to play with it but I love it and pester her all the time... We play
and play and sometimes she throws it in the air and I show her how
accrobatic I can be in jumping up and either batting it or catching it.

I also have fun in pestering my mom at night. I love to jump up
on her chest and wash her face or try to pull the covers down or
just plain wake her up to play with me in the middle of the night.
Snicker, snicker...I woke her up at 4 a.m. to play with me. She really
didn't want to do and pushed me away. I can't understand why...I
am awake so why can't she be awake and play with me!?!?!?

Well I am going to scoot now...dad just got up and I want to see
what he is going to have for breakfast and maybe he will give me
a taste of something.......bye for now....

Boy it has been a long, long time since mom and I have entered something in our diary. I talked to mom this morning and told her we just had to do something about it. Sooo here goes.

We all have been quite busy for several months. First of all mom and dad purchased a travel trailer with a lovely truck to pull it. Nooooooo we don't go with mom and dad when they take their short 3/4 day trips. They have someone come in and take care of us while they are gone. Mom tells me that she worries about us all the time she is gone... and in truth I miss her, too!

Mom and Dad do bring us back treets so we really don't mind and our caregiver is a wonderful person that gives us lots of love and especially treets.

Now for the holidays my brother, sister and I were very, very good. We did not touch the Christmas tree at all. Wanna know why!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????? Santa Claus brought us a wonderful tall 5 ft. condo tree. It is all carpeted and Mom put it in front of the bay window. OH BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have so much fun. The condo tree has three levels...we don't much bother the first one as it is below the window sill but the top level has a wonderful tube and we scrap to see who is going to get into it and watch out the tiny opening to see the birds outside. See Mom hung pinecones, in the tree outside our window, covered with peanut butter smeared all over them and then dipped in bird seeds....the birds love them. And we just love to watch the birds. They don't know we are there watching cause Mom and Dad had the window tinted so we can see out but no one can see in.

There were other gifts for us under the tree, soft balls that we can chase and a wand that has bright foil strips on it and Mom and Dad play with us with the wand...we all love it but me the most cause I can jump high in the air and show off how high I can jump, to catch it. We also got some yummy treets.....that taste like liver and also some that taste like cheese.

Well guys....the sun is shinning on the condo tree and I want to get some of that sunshine. I think I am going to have to knock someone down of the top perch so that I can lay back and stretch out and let the sun shine on me....

You all have a lovely sunshine filled day with lots of love and play mixed in with it......Oh yes, one more thing HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU HERE AT CATSTER!!!!!!!!!!
