Arrival Story:
Well, I was a senior in college, living alone in an off campus apartment. I was very lonely and came to the conclusion that I needed a companion. I went to the Lancaster County Humane League to pick out a cat, not knowing I would also be finding my best friend. I found Tippy in a cage, with her own poo stuck to her fur :( Her name tag read 'Grey Female'. I asked to have her removed from the cage and she started meowing up a storm! I knew at that moment she had to come home with me!

Bio:
Tippy survived a terrible car crash in Feb of 2000. I was driving home on the PA turnpike during a snowstorm. My car spun out of control and collided with a tractor trailer. Myself, my passenger and Q-Tip (who was in her carrier) escaped harm. We went to the ER for a cautionary examinaton. Q-Tip, stuck in her cage for over 8 hours, did not complain once. I figured, if we can survive this together, me and my Tippy can get through anything. She really is my special kitty!!!
