I went to the v-e-t on the weekend because my eyes were playing up again. The vet persuaded Mummy to try giving me eye drops, even though it said in my file that I'm not good to give drops to. I got an elephant stamp for being good at the vet as usual. Orkney said an elephant is the most appropriate stamp for me, I wonder what she meant?
Anyway, that evening Mummy crept up on me, seized my head and put drops in my eyes! I shut my eyes tight, jumped up and ran outside to roll on the concrete, which is something that always makes me feel better. I rolled and rolled and then I ran to the gate and sat there with my eyes still tightly shut. I wouldn't open them at all for at least ten minutes.
Mummy gave me another dose the next day and I struggled and cried and shut my eyes again for a long time. She says she's going to tell the vet no more eye drops. The antibiotics do the job without having to torture me as well.
