I'm back

For some reason, my MaMa wasn't getting any emails from Catster for months and she went into the site and found out her email address was rejecting newsletters from Catster. Well, she fixed that problem, and now we are back! I've missed all of you.

My brother Romeo goes to the bridge

It was on April 14, 2009, a very sad day for all of us. Romeo had to be put down due to kidney failure and I miss him so much. He was my buddy, it was always he and I romping around together, now I only have my brother Zsa Zsa and my canine brother, Bear. I pray that some day our MaMa would become happy again, for she took this very hard, her heart is broken bad. Romeo, if you're looking down on us please remember the happy times you had with a family that truly loved you.

Why me? Why not Romeo and Zsa Zsa, too? They meow loudly also! But not anything like mine. Everyone says, he doesn't sound like a cat, he sounds like a grown man in pain, MOL MOL! Well, yes, she gave me a beauty bath and wrapped me in three (3) towels she heated in the microwave! I fell asleep in her arms, like a newborn baby. On a scale from 1- 10, the bath, this time was definitely a 10!

I'm in shock! My good friend Sampson just sent me a message and told me I won the smushy faced photo contest for the month of May! I'm so excited and I don't know whether to hide under the bed or jump on Mom's lap. Me, little old me! Thankyou everyone, for choosing my smushy face as the face of May!

A very sad day for all of us, I don't know how to explain it but I feel an emptiness in my gut over the loss of our friend, Punkin. She passed over today and we are all feeling very low...for her and especially her Mom and Dad who we know loved her very much. Our love goes out to you, Punkin!

My Mom told me last night that I was so cute, she could take a bite out of me. She's been combing and brushing me every day. I heard her say to my Aunt Polly, it's our bonding time. Yeah, not when she hits a little mat, that hurts. Sometimes I wish her camera would break, she runs around the house like a maniac taking our pictures, every single day. She even painted our faces on rocks! Her garden is full of rock paintings of us, it kinda looks like a museum. Oh well, I'm her baby and she loves me. Aunt Polly said I look like that thing that lives in the garbage can on Sesame Street. How dare her!

Oh well, back to playing Hide and Go Purr with my two brothers. One hides and we find him. A tough call at times.

I really think our Jungle is the purrrfect world.

I'm so shy

I can remember from day one how my Mom would hold me like a baby and look into my eyes whispering, "You are so beautiful, you're Mr. Hollywood, my little movie star". Why couldn't she pick a name that was short and sweet? Every now and then she calls me Casanova or Cassy, guess she thinks I'm going to be a "ladies man" someday.

I have two older brothers, Zsa Zsa, he's 4 and Romeo is 5. Zsa Zsa is so laid back, he just lets Romeo take over. And that he does very well. He taught me everything and I feel so secure with him. The only thing is, I'm so shy? Everyone who comes to visit wants to pick me up but I run. My Mom tricks me, she'll walk by like she's heading for another room in the house and bingo, she scarfs me up to brush me or wash my face. I do know one thing, she's a fanatic with her camera. There isn't a day that goes by that she doesn't take my picture. She also has photos she took of me all over one of the walls in the house! Guess she devoted three walls just for us three. I know she loves me. Sometimes I sleep on the middle of her good dining room table but she NEVER makes me get down. She's pretty cool, herself.
