Arrival Story:
I never cared for black cats until I met Bosco, The Tender. We rescued Bosco after he was brutally abandoned to his devices in the parking lot. He walked into the cage waiting for him on our second floor walkup balcony. Firstly, he howled heartrendingly for 2 days, all over the property, but I couldn't find him, before he came to us for food out of desperation. The first night of howling, I was trying to catch him with a towel, but he escaped. One of the ferals was around and Bosco's tail went straight up and he headed for a bud, but the bud hissed at him and took off. He has been abused. Neglected. He ate cat litter, he couldn't tell what was food. He had to be trained to use the litter box not as dinner but, as, after dinner. He would let me stroke his chin and he would lay his head down on my hand in total surrender and purr. Nobody, absolutely, nobody had wanted him, you could tell.

Bio:
Hey, get those cute white-tipped little hind feet! Bosco was named by his other foster mom, later. His foster mom seemed to be his mom for life- he was not considered adoptable- he was too shy around humans. He was so content and safe with her (tho still people shy) and so happy with 12 other cats. We would have adopted him except that Queen Ti (my friend's cat) would have none of it! :) He is a total dear. And, oh so glossy, now! I love that first pic of 'serious Bosco' . He seemed such a LONELY kitten, I recall. Now Bosco is no longer lonely. He was finally adopted! Yaaaaay!!!!!!
