Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
| -mixed breed | -disabled | -cat rescue | |
 Birthday: November 1st 2005
 Coloration: Classic

Likes: Obsessively kneading and curling up on warm laps. Beating up on Matisse and terrorizing Camille.

Pet-Peeves: Finlay coming anywhere close to her. Being ignored. Being cold. She doesn't like it when another cat comes near here when she's lying down.

Favorite Toy: Matisse. She gives him what we refer to as the "bear hug". She runs at him, tackles him, grabs on around his waist and kicks and bites him. She just generally menaces him.

Favorite Nap Spot: On the lap of Mommy or Daddy.

Favorite Food: Cleo will eat anything and loves everything. Except for shrimp.

Skills: She's good at destroying furniture with her claws. She's ruined 2 brand new peices of furniture (Arrgh!!). She's an amazing jumper, considering her disabilities.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: I have a friend who is the head equine DVM for Minnesota's horse race track. A ground's keeper there went to throw something away in a dumpster and heard small cries. It was a large dumpter so he had to climb in. He found Cleo on the bottom. She likely tried to jump in to get some food and was too weak to get out. She was emaciated, practically starved to death. She had very few teeth and it appears as though she had broken bones in her shoulders which healed with no intervention. My friend talked me into adopting her despite the fact that we already had two cats. Once we got her home, it took her 2-3 months before she gained weight, and 6 months before she had normal digestion. In that period of time we also realized she had a seizure disorder. She would have episodes of rage where she'd attack us and then be unable to walk. She was on anti-seizure medications for 6-7 months but she no longer needs them. Her condition was probably brought about by a previous head trauma.

Bio: Our two other cats, Camille and Matisse, have always been the best of friends. When Cleo arrived she was very aggressive to everyone and the other cats hated her. It took nearly a full year before the cats could be in the same room with each other without screaming and hissing. Finally they seemed to come to an understanding. Although not affectionate, they at least tolerate each other, that is to say when Cleo is not overtly attacking them, which she is known to do! The two other cats have no trust for her and they always assume the worst when she walks into the room.
