Arrival Story:
UPDATE: I can now Hold, Bathe, trim Nails on lady with NO problem. She is a very sweet kitty to me. She still is cautious around other people. my small foster doggies look in on her and she is OK with this also. She likes to go outside occasionally but looks to come in as soon as she sees the lights go out and knows I am going to bed. She likes to sleep in the bath tub so I put her bed in there. Sometimes she spends all day in there asleep. She will come to me if the doggies are in their crates and curl around my legs. I see NO feral left in her. Lady has been moved in to my home. She is still very cautious. She has swiped me and hissed. I encourge her with wet food. Tigger a tiny kitty is helping her to adjust and trust me. She is now adventuring out of her room and exploring. She does not hesitate to request her wet feedings. Lady was a feral cat who ran out in front of me. I was unable to avoid hitting her. I saw she was hurt and stopped. I had a blanket in my car which I used to throw over her to catch her. The Vet treated her for her injuries which was a broken leg. It had to have pins put in. The Vet kept her there for a week to recoup some before spaying her. She was pregnant (No unwanted kitties born). She stayed a few more days and was then able to be released. She is now in a large cage in my barn. I go to visit her twice a day. I give her fresh food and water and clean her litter pan. I have put toys and tried to get her to come out of her cat condo but she always stays inside. She has stopped hissing at me. I know she comes out but have yet to see her. She still has to heal so maybe this is best.
