indoors Arrival Story: Like most of the AAWL's animals, Apple came to us from the local pound. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Visit our other adoptable animals at www.aawl.org. Bio: What does it mean to be the apple of someone's eye? My name's Apple. Can I be the apple of YOUR eye? I'm a big boy with an even bigger heart: I just adore people. I'll follow you around and try to climb into your lap, even though I don't exactly fit. That won't stop me from trying and I'll purr up a storm the whole time, kneading on your leg for good measure to show you how happy I am. When I'm in the right mood, I'll even purr if you pick me up and dance with me. If you pick me up when I'm feeling frisky, I'll just get a little squirmy to tell you that I'd rather be playing. Sometimes I'll bat at the nearest object to get your attention so that we can play together: interactive play is my favorite! Because I sometimes give love nips when I play (don't worry: I never break the skin), I should go to a home with children jr. high aged or older. I am front-declawed and my adoptions fee is $129.
