Laffy

Laffy died today

Laffy was adopted in January by a family who was supposed to love her and keep her forever. They signed a contract promising this even. In June Laffy appeared in a backyard in the city of Vancouver. She hung around there all summer long, enjoying the outside and the sun and the food that the nice people put out for her.

As the weather cooled, the people began to worry about Laffy adn they opted to take her to the humane society in hopes she would be reunited with her family. Only thing is her family couldn't be reached, the numbers weren't any good anymore.

We picked up Laffy, who didn't have name, and we brought her home. We named her Laffy because we had been calling her Lost And Found Kitty. Laffy was so depressed she wouldn't eat or drink. No one really knew how bad it was until today she died.

The only bright thing that could possibly come from this is that Laffy is now at the Bridge. From there she will guide people who may adopt to her former family, and give them that unsettled feeling that makes you not want to adopt to someone. She will also be able to look out after any animals this family does manage to get. She is also no longer depressed at the Bridge. She is up there now watching over us all. We are saddened by her loss, but we know SHE is happy now!!

We love you Laffy!!!! You were only with us for a short time, but we love you dearly!
