Arrival Story:
Max is what is called a Smoke Black Tabby. Max was part of a litter of kittens that were approximately two weeks old that were dumped in a parking lot in July when it was around 110. That is how people around here get rid of unwanted kittens because fixing their animals is too much trouble.

Bio:
Max was bottle fed and went everywhere with me for 6 weeks. He went to work, he went visiting. We had middle of the night feeds, he would get up on my chest and bite my nose until I got up to feed him. As a result, he is very socialized and when the dogs came to live with us, he never gave them a second thought. I lost my beloved Max on December 15, 2006 due to internal bleeding that he was too weak to have surgery to find out what was wrong. His love of me was the only reason he actually came home intead of just curling up somewhere outside to die. I wish we could have saved him, I still miss him.
