Arrival Story: Grandmaw spent several Winter weeks sitting on the ground talking to Charcoal and Opie's mother, Champagne from a nearly feral cat into a lovable, continually purring cat that gained our trust and delivered two perfect litters before the evil neighborhood bully cat chased her into traffic, where she was hit by a car. Opie & Charcoal were born from Champagne's 2nd litter in our heated laundry room.

Bio: Charcoal was the third of three kittens born to "Champagne", her light orange domestic short-hair tabby birth mother. Her father was a local neighbors' BIG domestic long-hair gray, tiger stripped cat. Charcoal will steal potholders, keys, crackers or cookies in the package and hid them. She loves to lick plastic bags, potato chip bags, sandwich bags... anything plastic. But she normally doesn't swallow any - she just likes to lick and bite it. Charcoal has never been sick until now. But, she is showing some signs of improvement and has started eating her regular cat food. She will use her daily journal to document her progress.
