My Darling Morris

Today my sweet Morris surprised me with the most georgeous ring I have ever laid eyes upon. The band is gleaming silver and it's set with beautiful, twinkling diamonds. I don't have fingers (duh, I'm a cat) so I'm going to put it on a golden chain and wear it around my neck. I am such a lucky kitty to have such a thoughtful and romantic fiance. *purrrrrrrrs*

A poem

Mommy found this poem today; it reminds her very much of me.

Gentle eyes that see so much,
paws that have the quiet touch,
Purrs to signal "all is well"
and show more love than words could tell.
Graceful movements touched with pride,
a calming presence by my side
A friendship that takes time to grow
Small wonder that I love her so.

*purrrs* I miss you too mommy.

I've been tagged!

I've been tagged by my furriend Sasha, (sending some purrs down to you pretty girl). And my furriend here at the bridge: Boingo.

Each player starts with 7 random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged need to write the 7 rules in their Diary and 7 pawsome facts about themselves. Then choose 7 cats to tag and list their names. Don't forget to purr them a pmail telling them that they've been tagged and to read your Diary or you can send them a fun Rosette announcing that they've been Tagged!

Ok, here's my random facts:
1. My middle name is Blue because when I was a little kitten my skin had a bluish tint.
2. My name was going to be "Spiderleg" because of my long black legs, but mommy thought Cinderpaw was more fitting for a female cat.
3. I loved to sleep on the top bunk in the kids' room where I could watch the Vampire Rat from a safe distance.
4. When I got outside I was very, very hard to catch--mommy once spent the better part of a Saturday night trying to get me down from the roof.
5. I miss my earth brofur and my mommy alot, but I still visit them sometimes.
6. My mommy's friend sometimes called me "Sexy Beast", er mol?
7. I sometimes played too rough with my brofur Elijah and he would hiss and run away. What a sissy-cat!

Now I'm gonna tag:
Arlene (a pretty angel)
Garfield ( a handsome angel tom)
Morris ( my sweet fiance)
Bixit Boseph ( I love his diary)
Firefly ( I love that name)
Baby ( little tabby-angel)
Queenie ( her boy-furriend Jules Verne, is here at the bridge)

I Got To Go Home!

I should have written about this sooner, but better late than never I guess!
On January 1st my mommy was very sick and slept for a long time, so I decided that was a purrfect time to visit her in a dream. mommy was in her room, and all the sudden there I was with her. When my mommy saw me she thought my death was all a dream, and that I had never left. She played with me and told me over and over how happy she was that I was still there, and that the horrible dream was over. I had so much fun just being with her, and I even caught and ate a spider I found in her room. Yum! Finally I curled up and went to sleep in a corner and mommy woke up. She was so sad that I was gone again. I hope she knows I'm not really that far away.

Purring Like Crazy

Morris and I have adopted a sweet little cat named Jaykit. The first night that he stayed with me and Morris, we gave him a big basket lined with warm blankets to sleep in; I will always recall how comforted me and my sisfur Ember were during our first days at the bridge when we curled up together in the special basket that our momma Lucky had for us.
Today I'm going to take little Jaykit to one of my favorite places: the milky stream (although it's probably still frozen)! Then I will take him to see his grandkitties. *purrrs* I am such a lucky kit to be able to have my sweet boy-furriend, Morris, and little Jaykit

A very sad saturday night

I was crossing the road on saturday night but I ended up on the other side of the rainbow bridge. How was I supposed to know that skittering across the street for just one peek at the other side (a place I've never been before) would end like that? After all I'm just a kitten. My meowmy is heart-broken! At least Elijah is being a good little cat and trying to cheer her with the gentlest of nibbles and head-bonks. I know he misses me too--I can hear him mewing to me. I love you too Eljah!!! I hope he and meowmy will be ok.

O, sorry I was a leetle vague on what actually happened to me...I WAS HIT BY A BIG STUPID CAR!
*licks paw indignantly* Some people just don't care to look for helpless kitties on the road before they go zooming down it at 90 mph.

Back home at last

I'm so happy to be back home after mommy took us all to live in a hotel because of the fires. It was a little scary leaving in the car in the middle of the night but staying in a new place was actually kinda fun. Mommy says we're really lucky our house didn't burn down because alot of people's houses did.
And guess what, the most amazing thing happened while we were staying at the hotel---me and Emily made friends and she let me cuddle with her; But now that we're back home she's back to her cranky self....oh well.

A Visitor

Today mommy had a new feline "friend" over. I am very shy so I just curled up in mommy's lap and hid my face. Elijah said it was just a little scrap of a kitten and that I had no reason to be afraid, but I believe a cat is always better safe than sorry. Nevertheless, Elijah curled up to sleep with the kitten (whose name is Cat Williams) but later when she hissed at him he got ticked and decided that he no longer desired the friendship of such an uncouth little creature. Cat Williams, however, is assured of her ability to win him back with her kittenish wiles.

Rat snorfle-fest

Jamie the rat was zooming around on the floor like a kitten on high-potency catnip--when I pranced over and gave her a nose-smooch! It was kind of scary kissing a rat, what if she had bitten me? What if she's a rat-vampire and her bite will turn me into a cat-vampire...or worse, a RAT-vampire!?
Well, anyways, kitties, it wasn't so much a "I love you" kiss as it was a "I wonder what you taste like?" kiss.
Mommy was afraid that I might claw the little varmint so, after the smooch, she held me in her lap. But Jamie, seeing me held captive, skittered over on her leetle rat paws and started snorfling my tail! I thought it was bad when she snorfled my ear, but my tail!? That's private property. I jumped out of mommy's lap and turned tail, but ratty followed me! I barely escaped with my tail intact!
That rat is out to get me...I think I'll stay on the top bunk 'till mommy puts her back in her cage.
*shifty eyes*

Why doesn't Emily Felis like me?

Everycat I've met has liked me, but Emily can't stand the sight of me!
She doesn't mind Elijah much, he just gets hissed at now and then, but lately when Emily sees me she goes into full hissing-screeching-swatting-spitting attack-kitty mode! Mom says she did the same thing with SkimbleShanks, but usually he was the one to attack her. What I don't understand is why, when I'm just minding my own business and accidentally cross her path, she'll go homicidal on me! The big dog who lives with us tries to protect me, but I don't want his help, and besides he just ends up getting swatted.
