Arrival Story:
Jasper was a pound kitty, like Macy. He was all sweet and cuddly when we asked to see him: he even curled up nicely in my boyfriend's arms and purred.....aw! We decided to get him, but by law he had to be at the Humane Society for 3 more days before we could pick him up as he was a stray. As soon as we put sweet little Jasper back in his cage, he raced around it several times, peeing everywhere, with a crazy look in his eye....we should have known then that we had a lunatic kitty on our hands! :)

Bio:
Jasper got his name from a children's story called Jasper's Beanstalk, about a kitty who finds and plants a magic bean. I was reading it to my first graders at about the same time we got him. Jasper was diagnosed with HCM (a heart disorder) two years ago. It finally took him from me in January of 2011. Jasper is missed dearly. :(
