Arrival Story:
Smokey was a stray cat hanging around our home. My husband told him if he caught a mouse, he could come in the house. I found a rubber mouse, laid it on the front porch by the door and put ketchup on with a note that said: "Can I come in now?"

Bio:
Smokey passed away during the night on January 10, 2008. He never showed signs of sickness or distress. We are in shock and feel much sadness. I held him tight and said goodbye while my husband prepared Smokey's final resting place in our yard. He is terribly missed and I still cry when I come across something that reminds me of my boy. Smokey has attitude. If he were human, he would be a Harley Biker. Always has mischievious intentions. Does not like to be bothered unless he wants to be bothered. Does like to sit on laps and be petted only if he knows you.
