Quick Bio:
-pound cat

Birthday:
April 14th 1999

Coloration:
Bicolor

Likes:
Curling up in a human lap, even if I really don’t know the person very well. I also like licking people, being brushed, and whining for food.

Pet-Peeves:
No longer being the only cat. I miss the days when it was just Mommy and me!

Favorite Toy:
My fishing pole! I don’t jump very high for it, but I like catching it with my paws and licking it a lot.

Favorite Nap Spot:
On or next to a warm human body.

Favorite Food:
Mommy used to let me occassionally eat lettuce, french fries, or a little bit of ice cream, but not anymore. We found out that I had struvite crystals in my urine (yes, girl kitties can get them too!), so I only eat Science Diet food now.

Skills:
Who needs special skills when it’s a given fact that I’m the best girl cat in the world?

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
Mommy had a roommate who moved out. She decided to get a cat (dogs are too much responsibility!). She went to the Humane Society and there were two of us available: me and another cat who hadn’t been there long enough to go to a new home. Mommy took me, basically by default, but it’s worked out really well. We are both more cuddly than playful and have been through a lot together. She lets me run the place and takes such good care of me!! She’s the greatest! She got me on January 14, 2000.

Bio:
May 23, 2007 - I crossed the Rainbow Bridge today. Mommy came home from vacation around 10 pm on Sunday, May 20, and I was already very sick. She took me to the vet the next day and it took them a while to figure out what was wrong with me. It turns out I had cancer in my small intestine, plus I had fluid around my heart and lungs, and circulation to my back legs was very poor. I couldn't stand up or walk, and I hadn't eaten in days. Mommy made the very, very hard decision to let me cross the Rainbow Bridge. She brought 3 of her friends with her to say goodbye to me, and then spent 2.5 hours with me after they had to leave. She cried a lot and kept telling me how much she loved me and how I was the "best girl in the whole wide world." I was very good and just let her pet me the whole time. I kept falling asleep but it felt to have her hold me so much. Grandma (Mommy's mom) died 7 months ago and I know she will take very good care of me. She was always giving me treats and fattening me up. Mommy has a lot of years left on Earth but promised me that she will never forget me, will always love me, and can't wait to see me again. She thought I'd live a long life but it turned out I only lived to be 8 years old.
