EATING: this includes her own Innova EVO and stealing human food from the plates of mom and dad. She also loves playing with catnip mice and her sister, Jagger.
Pet-Peeves:
She hates when her kitty cubes collapse and she cannot play in them. She makes it a point, when this happens, to go in the office and lay on her dad's work papers until he realizes he must go fix them! She also dislikes being told "no"!
Favorite Toy:
Unlike her sisters, she truly adores catnip mice, especially her little pink ones with crazy faces from Petsmart. She loves to scoot balls and little toys around the floor and "hunt" for them.
Favorite Nap Spot:
Under the coffee table in the living room, or on a big pile of laundry on top of the washing machine and dryer!

Innova EVO! ...And everything else.
Skills:
Right now, I'm convinced she's "magical" for being able to make such good friends with our Jagger! She also doesn't "meow" like a typical cat -- she squeaks like a mouse and barks like a dog!

Arrival Story:
We were going to various adoption centers to help friends of ours adopt a cat. We agreed to meet them at a certain Petsmart to visit their adoption center. However, my fiance and I ended up getting horribly lost and we reevaluated our plans and decided to meet at the PetCo that was in between where they were and where we were. At the PetCo, a rescue group called Candy's Cats was hosting an adoption event. Our friends ended up finding their dream cat and adopting her. This is when we "met" Amelia, tucked away in a cage, dreamily looking at us. She had a sad story and she was getting older, she needed a home. My fiance and I fell in love at once and hey, the rest is history.
Bio:
A man killed himself and his wife decided to burn their house to the ground. Cats were left behind and after surviving, formed a colony with various feral cats at the rubble. A neighbor noticed, and called a rescue. The rescue was able to home most of the cats and noticed that two females were pregnant. After the females delivered their litters, they were spayed and put up for adoption. (Happy to report that all of the kittens found homes, too!) One of those females was our sweet Amelia.
