indoors Arrival Story: Fred is a foster cat I rescued about a month ago. He was painfully thin and injured. He required hip surgery to repair his injury and has recovered nicely. After his surgery he gave in and admitted he'd rather be a house cat instead of a stray and I've been working with him since. Bio: Fred has made amazing progress, he has gone from a nervous timid stray to a friendly, affectionate kitty. He still gives the occasional hiss when you startle him but then he reaches out to be pet and wants to sit on your lap. He is learning to explore the house and enjoys toys, boxes and windowsills. He is very friendly with my cats as well. Woo hoo foster mum gave me this amazing stuff, she called it catnip, I call it kitty fun chew mousies to pieces nip! She put some out for me to sniff and I liked it so much I just ate right out of her hands!
I've been playing, sitting on laps and meeting new friends today. Foster mum introduced me to Jose a friend of hers who is going to look after me while she's away, I'm still a little nervous about being away from foster mum but Jose seems real nice and as long as I get food and pets, and this catnip too, I'm in heaven!
Hello there I'm Fred, a new rescue who's learing to love the good life indoors! I had a bad start a mean man kicked me and hurt my leg but foster mum saved me and got me the help I needed. Now I get three meals a day, I';'ve got my own litterbox and if Wolfie would stop taking them, I even have my own toys. I love my chewy catnip mousie the best! Well that and being pet, those chin scratches are heaven!
