Arrival Story:
I went to obtain a cat to sort of replace Casper who I lost in 1997. J.J. was at a pet store and his story was that a woman found him in a dumpster and rescued him and bottle fed him for 6 weeks. I got him as a kitten and I'm afraid he thinks that he is a person due to the fact that he never had a cat mother. He is very strange and wonderful and I have enjoyed having him. When I went in the room of kittens to sit with them and see what one I wanted, he fell off the bench and into the water bowl. I knew then that he was for me. My dear J.J. had to be put down on January 6, 2012. He was 6 months shy of being 15 years old. He had cancer and went down very fast. He had lost a lot of his body weight and I couldn't have him to continue to suffer. I will miss him very much. He was the greatest pet and family member ever.
