Arrival Story:
Little Boy Blue was abandoned at my barn in August I 2007. I easily trapped him and took him to the vet, where he test negative for FeLV/FIV and was neutered; he was estimated to be only 12 weeks onld and weighed all of 2-1/2 pounds. I kept him at the hospital in hopes of finding him a home, but, two weeks later, was forced to bring him home to my crew, who were not thrilled.
My Sweet Lady, the oldest, wanted nothing at all to do with him and would hiss if he simply came into the room. Mordred, who'd put up with Althea as a kitten, sort of rolled his eyes, thinking, "Not again!" Althea would give him a wide berth. And Blue would look at me and say, "Mom, they're all such grumpfs."
Slowly, he's been integrated into the family. He's very affectionate and loves to sleep in my lap in the evenings. Sometimes, a kid just needs his mom, you know?
He usually gets "the evening crazies" and goes running about the house, jumping onto whatever surface presents itself. He'll playfully attack Mordred, his favorite target, and he & Althea can be seen chasing each other - although Althea squeals when he 'attacks' her. Some days, it seems I'm forever yelling, "Blue!"
He's no longer Little Boy Blue, but has morphed into The Blue Dude, who, at 11 months now, is a hefty and solid 12 pounds, 4 ounces. As of February 16, 2008, I know why the Lord wanted him here; My Sweet Lady went unexpectedly to the Rainbow Bridge, and Blue has become my healer, easing the pain of Lady's departure. He's a wonderful combination of affection and playfulness, a real delight.

Favorite Olympic Sport: All the equestrian ones, but I think they should add some feline ones, like High-Furniture Jump or Ride the Ceiling Fan!
Summer or Winter? Winter, absolutely! Love curling up on a snowy day, or lounging in a sunny window on a cold day - winter's *great* for cocooning!
Quirkiest Thing I Do ~ Hmm, maybe climbing under the covers when Mom's trying to wake up and nipping at her ankle - it *is* a sure way to get breakfast! LOL
Do I Have a Crush on Other Kitties? Nope - my only crush is on food! LOL
My Favorite Rosette. . . hmm, I like the stars because they last forever, but I like all the food ones, too! :)
