Arrival Story:
Santa brought us Fluffy when Mikayla was five and Fluffy was just three and a half months old. Santa (okay, our friend Regina), found Fluffy through an ad in the paper. Fluffy was the son of a Chinchilla Persian who had escaped and had a wild night on the town which produced Fluffy. Mikayla, being five, named him after his very fluffy looks.

Bio:
Fluffy has lived a good, long life. He was an outdoor cat for many years and was a fierce fighter cat while on the outside. His fighting days (and many trips to the vet and high vet bills) led to his becoming an indoor cat, which he really hates. He gets supervised outdoor time, but he's an outdoor cat at heart and would really rather just be left to roam at will. Fluffy has always been the most mellow, tolerant and loving cat. Mikayla put him through his paces when she was little and he just took it all in stride, purring away. Fluffy now has chronic renal failure and probably only has a month or two left with us. It's very sad. He's such a good cat and is becoming more and more uncomfortable and unhappy, and I know the day is near when I'll have to have him put down. Until then, I just want to enjoy him. I also want to create this tribute to him. I know it doesn't change anything, but it helps me feel better to broadcast my love for Fluffy. Update: we had to have Fluffy put down on November 6, 2007. He was down to five pounds, wasn't eating anymore, and just seemed miserable. He passing was peaceful and I'm glad he's not in misery anymore.
