Arrival Story:
Harri came from the shelter. She was brought in to work for medical care. There was a paperwork mix up at the shelter and when her adopting famly found out she was a girl instead of a boy they had her sent back. She was such a sweet kitten and I'd been carrying her around all day with me and felt terrible when the warden took her back. The next day I went to the shelter and adopted her. It's as though she watched me sign the paperwork, and the moment I did, she made it clear she was no longer the sweet helpless kitten that she'd seemed. She was in charge! I actually checked for her spay incision to make sure she was the same kitty I'd had with me the day before!!!
Bio:
Harri was diagnosed with a rare bone marrow disorder before ahe turned two and was given 6 months to live. After 6 blood transfusions, bone marrow biopsies, and multiple trips to the internist, she's still with me all these years later.
