24th November 2008 - Bones CAN heal!!

Arrrooooo! Bones can heal :D

Well, Last night Auntie Bekka came round to babysit me and the children whilst Mama went out. She was amazed at how well I am walking...It's like I never broke my leg! I've been such a good little girl since I broke my leg in several places almost two weeks ago, resting up and not climbing up the curtains. My Hu-brothers have been extremely sweet...I don't even have to walk to my water or food dish anymore, they bring it to me! Yes, I know, Aren't I amazing? I've only been here a month and I already have three little boys at my beck and call.

I have uploaded a few more pictures of me and also a short video - proof that bones can heal!

P.S I'm an insured kitty now so no nasty vet can tell Mama to put me to sleep when it's not needed.

I wish to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have been praying for me since I broke my leg on Sunday. It sure is boring waiting for bones to mend and I'm only a small way into my waiting...It better be worth it! MOL Hopefully, the bones will mend and I will not need that operation.

12th November 2007 - Pray for little Mitzi Kitzi

Mummy's sister Claire rung up this morning, she's so worried about little Mitzi Kitzi. She got her leg caught this morning and is in a lot of pain - we think she may have broken her leg or foot as it looks mangled. Poor little thing! Claire called Milton Keynes veterniary centre to see if they could see her on an emergency appointment. She was informed that to give her pain killers would cost £200, x-rays would cost another £200 and the overall cost including an operation would be over £1000. Claire (being a single Mum of 3 young boys and in poor health) explained that she just couldn't afford that and little Mitzi is not insured yet due to her young age, their reply was "Get her put down then!" Claire just burst into tears when she heard this, she does love her little Mitzi. You would think a vet would love all animals and therefore suggest an alternative solution like the PDSA - A charity that can provide free or reduced veterinary care for people who cannot afford. Claire is currently on the phone to them right now and hopefully, will be able to take Mitzi to them as soon as possible today.
I promise to keep you all updated on Mitzi, I hope you will all pray for our tiny little girl.

UPDATE
Claire just called. It's just been confirmed that Mitzi has broken her leg in two places...when you look at the foot it is facing the opposite way than it should! One of the breaks is in her little paw, the other in her leg. Mitzi will be forced to rest for several days and take pain-killers as the one in her paw should repair itself in time. The one in her leg may also repair itself so in a few days Mitzi will have more x-rays. If her leg break has no signs of repairing itself an operation will be scheduled and paid for by the PDSA.

20th October 2007

Dear Diary,
Mummy's home from her business trip to America today so tonight is my last night with Uncle Craig and Pickle. Wittle me has mixed emotions - I miss my Mum and the boys but I have loved staying with Uncle Craig and Pickle. The first night I was there I was really unsure of Pickle and ditto her about me. We hissed at each other and would have fought if Craig hadn't put us in seperate rooms for a while to calm down. Now, just a week later Pickle and I adore each other! We play and sleep together and she even lets me eat some of her food although I really should be eating my kitten stuff. I sure am going to miss her but I know it won't be the last I see of her though, We'll have to visit each other! I'll also miss sleeping on Uncle Craig's chest...He makes a comfy pillow.
Apparently, I've almost doubled in size in the past week so I hope Mummy will recognise me tomorrow :D

Hello my furriends...Well, last night Auntie Bekka came round to babysit me and the boys so I got some more photos for my page! Yay :D
Don't think of me as full of myself but, Don't I look so adorable in my new photos?
Next Saturday is going to be a little scary for me, Mummy has to come to Wisconsin, America for a whole week on a business trip. My hubrothers with be going to stay with their dad but, I am going to stay with Uncle Craig and his cat, Pickle. It will be my first time out of the house since I found my family since I haven't even been to the vets yet (I'll have my shots in just over a week). I sure hope Pickle will play with me - I love to play!!

28th September 2007 - Wow! My first catster honour

Hi Furreinds...Caffrey's Mummy (My Auntie Bekka) just called to tell me I've been named Cat of the Day at the Dogster/Catster group ♥All Fur Fun♥!
"Wow - Widdle me COTD?" I didn't believe her at first - I've not yet had this family for a month and they have already helped me earn my first dogster honour.

22nd September 2007 - A whole week

Wow, It's now been a whole week since I found my home. I think I like it here...I get lots of cuddles from my Mummy and my brothers play with me often. Mummy is ever so pleased with me because I have not had one accident, I'm a lovely little affectionate girl. Last night, Caffrey's Mummy came round to babysit so I got to play with her and tell her what changes I wanted to make to my page - You'll notice I have some new photos on my page.
Well, I'm off to attack the curtain again - That's too much fun!

14th September 2007 - My first day

Yesterday, On the 13th September 2007, a lady came with her sister and her three little boys to come see little 7 week old me and my 3 furblings. Me and my sister, who was all black, took the ladies fancy as we were the most social of the litter. The lady who owns my Mama was trying to persuade her to get both of us - Her heart said yes but her head said no, just get one. So, here I am living with this nice lady and her three young children. Last night, My new Mummy and her sister (who owns Caffrey, the Westie) found that I was extremely cuddly but that was because I was missing my Mama. Caffrey's Mummy was the one who came up with my name. Mitzi - Cute like me, Isn't it?? Today, I've starting to come out of my shell and show them I am a playful kitty who loves attention - I'm sure I'll get into lots of trouble soon! In the next few days, once I have got used to the idea that I am staying with my new family, Caffrey and I are going to be introduced. Everyone hopes we will get along...I'm sure there won't be a problem since there was two yappy Yorkshire terriers where I was born.
