Quick Bio:
-part feral-cat rescue

Birthday:
April 1st 2000

Likes:
Kitty massages, tickles. Warm, soft blankets. Favorite song: "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".

Pet-Peeves:
Paper rustling, and any loud rustling of fabric. Being ignored when she is bored. She is terrified of the landlady, and of course doesn't like the vacuum cleaner.

Favorite Toy:
Shoelace. Catnip on a mouse toy, with a scratchy surface to roll on and grab onto. "Bed mice" -- created by human moving around under blanket.

Favorite Nap Spot:
Feather pillow. Under blankets, curled up in my armpit. Above-blankets, my knees.

Favorite Food:
Chicken liver, bay shrimp, fresh local wild salmon.

Skills:
She detects and alerts you of the presence of spiders and other bugs. When she sings for her supper, she can sound a little like Judy Garland: very heart-rending. She could win the Acadamy Award for the drama in her meow if she feels she's being ignored.

Arrival Story:
When she was feral, Nora used to watch me as I went to my car late at night. Eventually, she, and her sister Sophia, were captured and came to live with me.

Bio:
Unsure of family background, but she seems like a Norwegian Forest Cat.

Lives Remaining:
9 of 9

The Groups I'm In:
♥All Fur Fun♥

Even though she seems a bit ding-y and dyslexic sometimes, she's rather intuitive, empathetic, and emotionally wise. When Nora hears a strange noise, she stands up to listen, looking just like a meerkat. She's very aware of raptors flying overhead. She has contributed some of her shed fur to a 6-foot long cat-fur scarf that I'm having crocheted. Many people don't realize what exquisite yarn can be spun out of cat and dog fur. It's been done for thousands of years, but these days people figure yarn can only come from sheep, goats, or rabbits. Cat and dog fur is plush!! Save it up, or ask your groomer to save it for you.
