First Night Home

Well, I brought Lord Rahl home tonight. The name is subject to change though as we haven't decided on anything for sure. My boyfriend and I both like Lord Rahl as he is a beloved hero in a book series we both adore. Lord Rahl came home today around 4:30pm. He wasn't feeling too well because he was neutered today. We feel so bad for him! But it's now 10pm and he's much more lucid now. He can walk straight and is no longer sleeping! He's been really sweet all night, sleeping on our laps while we did our homework.

I'm really happy that we adopted through a rescue shelter. Part of me feels bad though because I know it's the older cats who need the homes. Lord Rahl is a cutie- and I'm sure it was only a matter of days before he would have been picked. But I visited the shelter 3 days in a row and today he was all by himself- all 3 of his siblings adopted.

He's resting right next to my key board right now. Climbed right up here on his own! I guess he is feeling better. :)
