Arrival Story:
I was in an animal shelter with my brothers and sisters. I didn't really like it there though. The paper on my cage said that "there were too many of us to keep". Mama and papa came and visited me on a Sunday and took a keen interest in me.. but they left! The next day, mama came back and petted me some more but she STILL didn't take me home! So on Teusday she came back again (what a silly woman!). Oh, she took great notice in me that day cause my showoff of a brother was gone. He had been adopted shortly after she left the previous day. Well, one of my shelter care takers took me out of the cage and put me in a room with my future mama. Oh I made sure she'd take me home. Not a question- it was a beautiful show. I was a little confused when I was returned to the cage overnight. But I unfortunatly soon found out why. The next morning they did a surgery that would make it so I could never have my own babies! It was not pleasant at all... but soon enough mama came back and took me to my new home. I slept on her lap and then papas lap, taking turns all night. I was pretty darn tired!! Well, that's my story!

My life with Lord Rahl


First Night Home

Well, I brought Lord Rahl home tonight. The name is subject to change though as we haven't decided on anything for sure. My boyfriend and I both like Lord Rahl as he is a beloved hero in a book series we both adore. Lord Rahl came home today around 4:30pm. He wasn't feeling too well because he was neutered today. We feel so bad for him! But it's now 10pm and he's much more lucid now. He can walk straight and is no longer sleeping! He's been really sweet all night, sleeping on our laps while we did our homework.

I'm really happy that we adopted through a rescue shelter. Part of me feels bad though because I know it's the older cats who need the homes. Lord Rahl is a cutie- and I'm sure it was only a matter of days before he would have been picked. But I visited the shelter 3 days in a row and today he was all by himself- all 3 of his siblings adopted.

He's resting right next to my key board right now. Climbed right up here on his own! I guess he is feeling better. :)
