Miles was on "death row" at Anti-Cruelty, and Dave brought him in as a foster cat. Dave was alone and lonely, and Miles didn't go back so Dave could bring in other cats to nurse back to health. Dave kept him, and he's gone just about everywhere with him and Heather.
