Oliver is on medicine for his esphogus and digestion. We have to an eye on him, because if he eats anything other then his cat food, most of the time he gets sick. We can give him a bit of chicken broth as a treat now and then though.

It's that time of year in southern Indiana once again! When the corn is harvested, the mice scurry to the nearest home. So of course that means that our house has a couple families of mice now.
If you can't tell by the pictures, Oliver is a laid back fluffy ball of cuddles. He's the last cat I would picture as being a hunter.
Imagian my surprise at finding a dead mouse in front of my bedroom door and a very proud cat looking up at me. He of course got a lot of praise and hugs for doing such a good job, "not bringing me a half alive mouse."
I guess it goes to show that the heart of the lion can still beat even in the cuddliest of breeds.
