Arrival Story:
We adopted Queenie to be a sister to Puff, our other cat in 2001. We adopted her from the Denver Dumb Friends League. She walked up to the cage window when we were looking at cats. We asked to meet with her in the interview room. She walked all over and meowed at us. She adopted us and has been with us since.

I made my journey to the Rainbow Bridge today when the vet euthanized me. I kept taking my medicine for hyperthyroidism and recently started losing a lot of weight. I also had lost my hearing, couldn't jump on things anymore and staggered when I walked. My humans knew it was time and they are very sad. I lived 16.5 years and was with my humans for 14.5 years. I am at the bridge now and have met so many cats, dogs and other animals. I can chase butterflies and am a kitten again and feel so healthy and happy. I can run, jump and there are so many treats and so much food here. I am grateful my humans made a humane decision and let me go to the bridge.

I was diagnosed with feline hyperthyroidism lately. My human noticed I was losing weight and not feeling good so I had to go to the vet. I am being given medication and am feeling much better. Please keep me in your purrayers. Queenie

Thanks everyone for all the Valentines Day, Mardi Gras and other assorted rosettes. Our human has been busy, tired and not feeling the best lately and apologizes for not answering each sender directly. Please know your sentiments and kindness are very appreciated by our feline family and our human. Thanks again. Princess, Queenie and Puff-Rainbow Bridge
