Pogo is not really "my" cat. She is a stray that we have been feeding and giving water to. I have no idea of her age.
She is desperately in need of a home. She persistently tries to come into the house. She has no fear of my dogs. However, my dogs, do not do well with cats, which is why I can not bring her inside.
She has only 3 legs and what appears to be almost like a hair lip.
She is very affectionate and really needs to find an indoor home. I believe she has also been declawed on her front paws. This cat has no business being outdoors.
Fortunately, she seems to only hang out in a 3 yard radius, I have never seen her cross the street, but I still worry about her safety. I have put a large dog vari-kennel outside for her in case she needs shelter, but she does not seem to like it.
I, honestly, have very little knowledge of cats having only owned one many years ago. I believe she was , at one time, some-one's pet as she does not seem feral at all. She runs to greet me when I pull up in the driveway and repeatedly tried to run into the house, which is not the smartest thing, considering how my dogs really do not like cats. She is fine being held and petted.
I just felt so bad for this poor cat. Out here, everyone leaves their cats outside, but I really think this cat needs to go somewhere where she will be indoors like she obviously wants to be.
