Arrival Story:
Nala came to me as a kitten when my darling Bear was driving my oldest cat nuts and he needed some one to play with. They were inseparable until Bear left us. Nala was diagnosed with diabetes 9/11/09. We are coping as best as we can. She loves that she is getting canned food, not so crazy about the shots but it is necessary. Keep an eye on your cat. She was drinking a lot of water and peeing a lot and that could be a sign.

Bio:
Nala lost her battle with diabetes on July 2, 2010. Partly because of the lack of a good animal insulin and partly because I lost my job of 12 years and was unable to take her to vet as often as she needed to go. She was my sweet gentle girl and I miss her every day.
