RIP Morris. Please send Love Purrs and Prayers

My outisde friend Morris passed on to the Rainbow Bridge to be with my brother Yuri. My meowmy tried to bring him inside a bunch of times so that she could take him to the vet and get him all fixed up to come in and live with us but he was STRICTLY and outside kinda guy. He meowed and got all upset if meowmy brought him in. Well, today she went outside to brush the snow off of her car and go to work and my pal Morris was sitting by the door crying loudly, breathing REALLY hard and shivering. My meowmy got really upset, picked him up and took him to our vet. The vet was quite disheartened when he saw Morris. She said that he either had fluid on his lungs or a mass tumor in his chest pushing on his heart and lungs making him not be able to breathe. She said that the BEST case scenario would be heart failure and that SOMEONE would have to take him inside their home and treat him for the rest of his life. My meowmy was very willing to do that... until the vet told her that he was suffering... and that he would not have a goo quality of life... especially since he didn't like it indoors at all. The vet said it would be better for him to be sent to heaven so that he would not have to continue to suffer and have a painful slow demise out in the freezing cold. My meowmy loved Morris just like she loves me... she cried a whole LOT... and the vet told her that she would do the Euthanasia for no cost since it was so sudden and sad... Although Morris was not technically a part of the inside family I feel he was like a brother to me too. Please send lots of Love, Prayers and Purrs to my meowmy in her hard times. Thank you!
