Arrival Story:
Jag came to us just 3 months after we lost our 5 fur and feather babys in a house fire.
When we went looking for kittys to adopt it was so hard for us. We wern't sure if we were really ready to open our homes to a new fur baby. Jag changed our hearts and our minds as soon as we cought up to him!
When I met Jag I had been looking for a new fur baby and My husband said absoulutly NO red heads. He felt it would resemble one of our recent departed fur babys and that it would be to hard on us. But going from store to store looking for kittens and being so early in the season all kittens were so hard to rescue because so many wanted them.
I finaly found an ad at a local pet store for someone who had 4 kittys found in there garage and if anyone wanted them they could have them for free. so i called the number and made an apointment.
When i met Jag i was alone. and I could bairly see him. it was a dark garage and there were cats and kittens running all over. We already made up our minds that we were only looking for ONE kitty.
we had already decided on the other fur baby we had cought, which is now his kitty sister which would soon gain the name HALO. We new going there before hand that we didnt really want 2 kittens since Angel was already at home. then the lady said NO ONE had called and that there were so many cats around her property and the busy highway that either the pound would get them or they would most likely get hit by a car.
the lady i had talked to on the phone had to help me to catch him. He was covered in dirt and soot. He looked like a poor sight for human eyes. but he wasnt fased one bit. matter of fact he was giving the nice lady a heck of a few kitty words for picking him up. then i got to hold him and it was love at first sight. i was just a fraid the rest of our human family was not going to be ok with him because he was a red head. but i gave them a call on the phone and talked to Jags new human daddy and he said welcome to the family if he looked healthy.
So thats how Jag came into our loving home. He now is my lap kitty.
Bio:
*JAG* was named after our mom's favorite TV show.
Jag came to his new human family in the spring of 2005. Just one year later Halo and Jag would become proud parents of 2 fur baby's of their very own. (Sox & Powder)
Jag is so smart he knows when barbara comes home he followes her everyday from the front door right threw everystep. He sits in the bathroom while she takes a shower and even sings to her when she is drying her hair.
He loves Kitty treats so much he is usualy the culprit of opening and sharing the yummy stuff with all his fur family.
Jag loves toy mice and feathers.
and his favorite sleeping spot is on his human barbara. weather she is laying on her tummy side or back he is right there. he even makes sure she gets up for work ontime.

Well meow-me had her last set of injections yesterday for her back. she was really not feeling good so when she came home i followed her right intobed and lay softly with her for a few hours in bed. meow-me seemed like she was really hurting so i went to the window everyonce in a while to watch the squirlys run and then went back to watching her. i even brought her my favorite mousey toy inhopes it would make her feel better and happy. I think meowme is gunna be ok. but she needs much rest.
today meowme is feeling a little better. she was sitting up in bed and even able to go to the tv for a while. i made sure none of the other cats bothered her. Big brother Angel came to visit her inbed today to. he likes to giver her kitty hugs (head buts). and talk to her for a few little meows. meowme seems to understand him.
I'm so glad meowme is feeling better today she even gave us some tuna for a snack. i think she is so much better then yesterday. maybe tomarow she will bring out our feather toys to play.

Well today was ok Meowme got up and went to work at her usual time. (5am Grrrowwwelllll) Meowme must be really strong to do that all week. I sure wish her day off will be soon. I wanna sleep in so i can bring her my micy gifts to show her my appreciation.
Anyway While Meowme was away at work. daddy slept in bed so i got to give him a chest mesage. he loves that cause it makes him snnnnoooorrrrr so much louder. I think he is as loud as the air blower is thats in the window.
Anyway When Meowme came home from work she was a little tiard and wanted a nap so i got right up on her lap and we took a what she calls a kitty nap together. a kitty nap is where she falls asleep scratching her kitty on the head. which is usualy me.
I sure love my meowme. she is so special.
