Life and Times of Lily

It's been a while

Wow! I had to get on mom this mornig for not updating my blog in such a long time. A lot has happened since the last time I wrote. Mom took me to this place called the vet and I got fixed. I had to stay overnight but mom came the next day to pick me up. I also got some good drugs. I'm all better now and back to my old tricks. I think mom was thinking that by getting me fixed this would calm me down a little. I'm afraid to inform her it hasn't. I'm still into everything and bugging the heck out of my big sister Grace. I barely give her a moments rest some days. I still love hanging out with the dogs during the day while mom is at work. The little guy is really fun to paly with.

I will be one year old in a couple of weeks. I went through my first 4th of July last night. Boy was that loud even with all the windows shut. I like to play fetch with mom. She gets the biggest kick out of it since the dogs don't like to play fetch. All mom has to do is wad a piece of paper up into a ball and I go bonkers. She throws it and I go and bring it back to her. Nobody showed me how to do it either. Must be something I learned from my folks.

I will make sure mom updates my page more often. Hope all my pals are having a great summer.

My first week

Wow! What a first week I have had. I got to my new home last Friday and I met my new family. I now live with two dogs and three other kitties. They didn't like me at first and some hissed at me. These things called dogs kind of scared me at first but now the I really like the smaller dog. We play together. I explored my new house and discovered a lot of neat places to hide. My new favorite thing is to wait until mommy walks by and then I come flying at her. She calls me her little monkey. Not sure what that is but I think it's something cute. I then discovered this tube thing in the other room. Boy oh boy is that fun. I like to run through it and then try to get it to roll around on the floor. I also like to climb the curtains but I don't think mom is too keen of that. She keeps picking me up and putting me in another part of the house when that happens.

There's this really nice girl kitty here named Grace and she has finally warmed up to me. In fact she has even let me curl up and sleep with her. I really like that. The two other boy kitties are kind of aloof and weird. It's gonna take some time to get to know them. In the meantime though I'm really enjoying my new digs.
