The truck

This morning, I went across the street to play with a neighbor's cat. I was coming back home. I noticed that mom and dad were out with the kids waiting for their bus to come and pick the kids up. I looked both ways, but I couldn't see over the big hill. I started across the street, but couldn't get out from infront of the truck speeding through there in time. I started with nine lives, I ended with zero.
