   Leave a treat for Geese

Schmeesums, Big Boy, Lover Man, My Baby-baby

Sitting on Mom, Forcible pettings, Naps, wrongful urination, Chasing his sister, playing with string for under 5 minutes, touching noses, cuddling, moving Blue Bear from room to room, waking Mom up in the middle of the night to pet him

Getting yelled at, when Mom shuts the door at night, When Algebra gets to the catnip first, not sitting in Mom's lap, when Geese is angry he expresses this by creating large free-form urine paintings under my sewing table.

Favorite Toy:
Sometimes string, Blue Bear, catnip (only when his sister tries to have some)

Favorite Nap Spot:
Mom's bed, especially if she's on it

Favorite Food:
Purina and Crunchy Ocean whitefish and crab snacks, He don't want your stinkin' human food

He holds an advanced degree in cuddling, but his mastery of this art is overshadowed by the voracity with which he pursues it. For him it is an obsession bordering on neurotic need. He MUST cuddle and be cuddled and I am the only one who can do this.

Arrival Story:
I was staying a friend's house and when we got up in the morning this orange cat wound around my feet. I picked him up and thought he would just push his way out of my arms but he went limp and looked up at me and I was GONE. My friend had rescued him from her coworker who was going to have him and his brother put to sleep because she changed her mind about having cats (that nasty piece of information always makes me cringe, he is the best cat). My friend is alergic to cats but she saved them and looked for good homes. When I expressed an interest she drove him to my house and dropped him off in my arms. It's been a very intense relationship, but a very loving one. Geese recently overcame a mysterious and highly expensive ailment that prevented him from "doing his business" He is fine now and expresses his gratitude to mom by not peeing on the floor.

Obession does not begin to cover his feeling for me. No one has never yearned for my nearness the way Geese does. When I get up he needs to know where I went and when I sit down my lap is his personal property. Sometimes I am concerned about the INTENSITY of his feeling for me but after all I am bigger and have the key to the front door. Geese wants to holler at his uncle Jesse, who pets him and then looks surprised when his nose turns red and swells up. Props to the allergy-sufferin' cat lovers.

I attempted to snuggle mom early this morning. Walked across her stomach and flopped down right next to her. She just rolled over and moved away. Life is empty and meaningless.
